Turtles In Time vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder from Limited Run Games

As part of their ongoing series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game vinyl soundtrack releases Limited Run Games have now reached Turtles In Time. Both the arcade and SNES versions of the soundtracks will be included in this release. The SNES version also saw a vinyl release from iam8bit back in 2019.

The release will be a 2LP available in a series of different color variants:
– Black vinyl
– “Ooze” green vinyl (Limited Run Games exclusive, 1000 numbered copies)
– “Turtle Power” clear with red, orange, blue and purple splatter vinyl (Official Konami Shop exclusive)
– “Secret of the Ooze” glow-in-the-dark vinyl (Ship To Shore PhonoCo. exclusive)

It is priced at $45 ($50 for the limited) and is an open preorder from now and until December 31, 2023. It is scheduled to release 8-9 months after preorders close. It can be preordered from Limited Run Games here.

Music from the GuJian soundtrack is now up for vinyl preorder via A+ Record

A+ Record have just launched vinyl preorders for a selection of music from the soundtrack to Chinese RPG GuJian.

The release will be available in both a regular and a limited “gift box” variant. The standard release will be a single LP on 180g green “smoke” colored vinyl. It will be housed in an individually numbered gatefold jacket with game art.
The limited version will include the standard vinyl release, but will have it housed in a wooden box set alongside a felt slipmat, an art print and four acrylic character stands that can sit on a turntable’s spindle while playing.

The regular variant is priced at 269 RMB and the limited at 369 RMB. The are both scheduled to release around January 10, 2024 and can be preordered via A+ Records’ Taobao store here. Please note that a proxy service may be required for orders shipping outside of China.

Lost In Cult to release Eastward’s Octopia DLC soundtrack on vinyl

Lost In Cult Records and Black Screen Records are teaming up to release the soundtrack to Eastward’s upcoming Octopia DLC on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP on yellow colored biovinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art. It will also include an certificate of authenticity signed by composer Joel Corelitz. It will be limited to 1000 copies.

It is priced at £30 and is scheduled to release in Q2 2024. It can be preordered from Lost In Cult here.

UPDATE: I’ve been informed that a standard version with a different color vinyl and without the certificate will be available at a later time.

The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky SC soundtrack now available to preorder on vinyl via Streaming Arrow

Streaming Arrow Records are now ready with preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to second entry in the Trails JRPG series – The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky SC. They took preorders for the first game in the series earlier this month.

The release will be a 4LP set available in three color variants – a limited edition blue and white swirl with rainbow splatter colored variant, a blue and white swirl colored variant and a black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in two gatefold jackets within a slipcase box set all featuring game art. It will include an 8-page booklet with game art and translated song lyrics.

It is priced at $100 (or $105 for the limited edition) and is an open preorder until December 7, 2023. It is scheduled to release in late May, 2024. It can be preordered via Streaming Arrow Records here.

Tournament Arc self-titled album of VGM arrangements up for vinyl preorder via Materia Collective

Materia Collective are releasing VGM cover band Tournament Arc’s self-titled debut album on vinyl. It features jazzy takes on music from Persona 5, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII, Journey, Metal Gear Solid 3, Bastion, Donkey Kong Country 2, The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, and NieR: Automata.

The release will be a 180g 2LP available in two color variants – a gold colored vinyl variant (limited to 700 copies), and a standard black vinyl variant. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Absolum.

It is priced at $40 for the standard and $45 for the limited edition and is scheduled to release in early 2024. It can be preordered from the Materia Store here and from their Bandcamp here.

Contra ReBirth vinyl soundtrack now available to preorder from Ship To Shore PhonoCo.

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. are releasing the soundtrack to the Wii-exclusive run-and-gun Contra ReBirth on vinyl.

The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – a purple-i-clear colored vinyl variant, and a limited edition clear with blue, purple and magenta splatter colored vinyl variant.
It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise and will include an insert with liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky FC vinyl soundtrack up for preorder via Streaming Arrow

Streaming Arrow Records have opened preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the first game in the Trails JRPG series – The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky FC.

The release will be a 4LP set available in three color variants – a limited edition blue and white swirl with rainbow splatter colored variant, a blue and white swirl colored variant and a black vinyl variant.
It will be housed in two gatefold jackets within a slipcase box set all featuring game art. It will include an 8-page booklet with game art and translated song lyrics.

A 12LP bundle with all three soundtracks in the Trails In The Sky series is also made available now. The other two Trails In The Sky (SC and 3rd) soundtracks will be going up for preorder on their own on November 24 and December 8, 2023 respectively.

A set of postcards from in-game areas will be included with the first 300 preorders from Streaming Arrow.

The FC set is priced at $100 ($105 for the limited) and is an open preorder from now and until November 23, 2023. It is scheduled to release in late May, 2024. It can be preordered via Streaming Arrow Records here.

Limited Run Games are now taking preorders for the vinyl soundtrack to the 1991 Game Boy game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers.

The release will be a single LP available in multiple vinyl color variant:
– Standard black
– Green “ooze” (limited to 1000 numbered copies)
– “Secret of the Ooze” glow-in-the-dark (Ship to Shore exclusive)

iam8bit to release World Of Warcraft Classic and Burning Crusade vinyl soundtracks

iam8bit are doing more vinyl soundtracks for the classic MMORPG World Of Warcraft this time it’s the Classic version of the game alongside the Burning Crusade expansion getting releases. Last year they opened orders for the soundtrack to Wrath Of The Lich King.

Classic is a 2LP on “Legendary” gold translucent with black swirl colored vinyl.
The Burning Crusade is a 2LP on “Stormrage” green marble colored vinyl.
Both releases will be housed in gatefold jackets with printed inner sleeves featuring game art as well as design by Ryan Brinkerhoff. They are currently both marked as Blizzcon exclusives and limited to 1000 copies each.

They are priced at $43 each and are in hand and ready to ship. They can be preordered from iam8bit here.
