The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 1

Silva Screen and Digger’s Factory are releasing the 2011 orchestral arrangement album “The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 1” on vinyl.

The release will be a single 140g black vinyl LP. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with a slightly modified version of its original 2011 digital cover art. It will be limited to 1300 copies.

Preorders opened on July 14, 2020 and it is scheduled to release in September, 2020.

The Greatest Video Game Music

X5 Music Group have released the classical arrangement album The Greatest Video Game Music on vinyl. It was originally released on CD and digital in 2011.

The release is a black vinyl 2LP. It comes in a gatefold jacket and includes an insert with credits.

It was scheduled to release in mid-August, but was delayed and released in late September, 2019.

VGM Acapella Volume 1

Yetee Records have released Smooth McGroove’s VGM Acapella Volume 1 album on vinyl.

It is an acapella arrangement album.

The release is a single LP on yellow vinyl. It comes in a regular LP jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise.

Preorders opened on January 23, 2019 and it began shipping out in late March, 2019.

Zelda & Chill

Materia Collective have released the lo-fi hip hop Zelda arrangement album Zelda & Chill on vinyl.

The release is  a single LP on black vinyl. It comes in a regular LP jacket with artwork by Mikel, Chris Davidson and Cindy LaBreacht. It is limited to 1000 copies.

Preorders opened on November 7, 2018 and it was scheduled to release around February, 2019. However, it was pushed and began shipping in late March, 2019 due to a slight delay at the pressing plant.

Zelda Cinematica

Sam Dillard launched a succesful Kickstarter campaign for his arrangement of music from the The Legend of Zelda series. The arrangement is a symphonic tribute in the style of cinematic movie scores.

The campaign was launched on April 18, 2017, was succesfully funded, and ended on May 18, 2017.

As of September 28, 2018 the recordings finished and released digitally via Materia Collective.

The release is a black vinyl 2LP and is housed in a gatefold jacket with original art. It is a pressing of 450 copies.

The vinyl records began shipping out to backers in mid-April, 2019.

Power Overwhelming

The Yetee have released the Big Bad Bosses album, Power Overwhelming, on vinyl.

The album is a boy band pop comedy album with band members performing as Bowser, Ganon, Doctor Eggman/Robotnik, and Sephiroth.

The release is a 2LP with one record on silver- and the other on gold-colored vinyl. It is housed in a silver-foil embossed jacket with art by Satchell Drakes and Drew Wise. The release will be limited to 500 copies.

Orders opened on March 28, 2018 and began shipping shortly after.

The Legend Of Zelda

Bit Brigade have released a reworked version of their The Legend Of Zelda cover album on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on gold-colored vinyl in a regular album jacket.

Preorders opened July 24, 2017 and it began shipping late August, 2017.

Mariachi Entertainment System

Mariachi Entertainment System did a Kickstarter for their second album, which includes a vinyl option at the $225 tier.

The Kickstarter was succesfully funded on July 31, 2016 and expect to ship its rewards to backers in February 2017.

As of December 2018 there have been no indication that these have shipped out or even made, and attempts to get information from the project have failed. Unless there are any future developments it seems unlikely that this will be released.

Brass 2: Mouth

This album features rock covers of video game music by Minibosses from games such as Excite Bik, The Legend Of Zelda, Ghosts N’ Goblins, Kid Icarus, Super Mario Bros. 3, and more. It was self-released by the band in 2011.

It is limited to 437 hand-numbered copies and was released by the band itself.

Toy Music: Dancing Super Mario Brothers

LP released in 1988 by Toshiba EMI. It contains 10 tracks from the games Super Mario Bros., The Mysterious Murasame Castle, Famicom Tantei Club: Kieta Kōkeisha, Kid Icarus, Shin Onigashima, Famicom Grand Prix: F1 Race ~ 3D Hot Rally, Metroid, and The Legend Of Zelda.
