Life Is Strange: Before The Storm – Vinyl Edition

Square Enix have released a vinyl edition for their game Life Is Strange: Before The Storm.

The release is a 4×7″ box set with 2 records on white and 2 on pink. It comes with a copy of the game, a CD soundtrack, an artbook and some game DLC.

Preorders opened on January 18, 2018 and it released on March 6, 2018.

This is the US release, which is identical to the European release aside from some different catalog and product numbers.

Tetris Effect Original Soundtrack

Limited Run Games have released a selection of tracks from the soundtrack to Tetris Effect on vinyl.

This is the black vinyl 2LP set. It comes in a gatefold jacket. It includes a booklet with liner notes from the game’s director and its composer.

Preorders opened on November 21, 2019 and it was scheduled to begin shipping 2-4 months later, but was delayed and released in May, 2020.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

iam8bit have released the soundtrack to Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number on vinyl.

The release is a 3LP with one record on blue, one on pink and one on green colored vinyl. It comes in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by El Huervo. It also includes a steam code for a copy of the game.

It originally released on March 2, 2015.

This is the second repress, which came out in July, 2015. It can be identified by a small “C” in the bottom-left corner on the back cover.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

iam8bit have released the soundtrack to Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number on vinyl.

The release is a 3LP with one record on blue, one on pink and one on green colored vinyl. It comes in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by El Huervo. It also includes a steam code for a copy of the game.

It originally released on March 2, 2015.

This is the first repress, which came out on April 15, 2015. It can be identified by a small “B” in the bottom-left corner on the back cover.

Red Matter (Original Soundtrack)

Enjoy The Ride Records have released the soundtrack to VR game Red Matter on vinyl.

The release is a single-sided LP with a screen printed b-side. It comes in a regular LP jacket with game art.

Orders opened on April 3, 2020 and it began shipping out shortly after.

This is the “Neon” red colored vinyl variant. It is limited to 100 copies.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe have released the soundtrack to Horizon Zero Dawn on vinyl.

The release is a 4LP box set on 140g vinyl. It’s housed in a slipcase in individual printed sleeves. The release features previously unreleased music from the game on one side.

This is the 2019 repress on black vinyl.

Journey

A 2LP picture disc featuring Austin Wintory’s music to the PlayStation exclusive game have been released by iam8bit.

This is the repress released in 2016 or 2017. It is nearly identical to the original pressing, but feature different runouts in the deadwax.

Final Fantasy VII Remake And Final Fantasy VII Vinyl

Square Enix have released a selection of tracks from Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Remake on vinyl.

It is  a 2LP picture disc release. It is housed in a sturdy, textured triple gatefold jacket resembling a Buster Sword. It is wrapped in a silver-foiled cardboard silpcase with the game’s logo.

Preorders opened on July 7, 2019.

This is the EU variant, which features a different catalog number from the Japanese release and is pressed at GZ Media. It features different company credits than the US release, but is otherwise identical.

Tekken 7 Original Soundtrack

On March 26, 2020 Laced Records announced that they will be releasing the soundtracks to the entire Tekken main series on vinyl throughout 2020.

No further details on this release have been announced.

Fallout 76: Take Me Home, Country Roads (Original Trailer Soundtrack)

A 7″ with a cover version of Take Me Home, Country Roads, which was used in the trailer for Fallout 76, was released on vinyl by Bethesda.

It’s a 7″ on yellow colored vinyl and features an etching of a vault door on the b-side. It comes in a clear plastic sleeve with no jacket.

It released on December 8, 2018 with free copies of issue 170 of Stack Magazine in JB Hi-Fi stores in Australia.
