Guilty Gear Strive vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder via Channel 3 Records

Channel 3 Records are now taking preorders for the first soundtrack volume of music from fighting game Guilty Gear Strive on vinyl.

The release will be a 180g 3LP with one record on red, black and white tricolor, one on yellow, black and orange tricolor, and one on blue, black and green tricolor colored vinyl.
It will be housed in a box set with printed inner sleeves. It will also come with a logo pendant, a logo sticker, a chibi character sticker sheet, and a 36-page booklet with art and lyrics.

Additionally the box is spaced in a way that makes room for future pressings of volumes of music from the soundtrack.

It is priced at $100 and is scheduled to release in late Q4 2024. It can be preordered via Channel 3 Records here.

Super Dodge Ball vinyl soundtrack now up for preorder from Channel 3 Records

Channel 3 Records have just opened up preorders for a vinyl soundtrack release to NES dodge ball game Super Dodge Ball.

The release will be a single LP available in four color variants – a “Powershot” orange-in-clear with orange splatter variant, a “Namennayo!” blue translucent with blue splatter variant, a standard black variant, and an “All-Stars” clear with blue and orange splatter variant (Ship To Shore exclusive).
It will be housed in a die-cut, UV spot varnished gatefold jacket with new artwork by Koji Ogata. It will include an art insert, a sticker sheet and a rubber slipmat.

It is priced at $36 and is scheduled to release in May, 2023. It can be preordered from Channel 3 Records here.

Double Dragon I & II NES soundtracks getting vinyl release via Channel 3

Channel 3 Records have launched preorders for the NES soundtracks to Double Dragon and Double Dragon II: The Revenge together on vinyl.

The release will be a single 180g LP in three different color variants – a “Double Dragon” gold variant (100 copies), “Jimmy” red splatter variant (450 copies), and a “Billy” blue splatter variant (450 copies).
It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art housed inside a gold-foil slipcover.

It is priced at $33 and is scheduled to release in Q1 2022. It can be preordered via Channel 3 Records here.

Double Dragon IV up for vinyl preorder via Limited Run Games

Limited Run Games have just opened up preorders for the vinyl soundtrack release to the beat ’em up Double Dragon IV.

The release will be a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with game art.

It is priced at $30 and is an open preorder available from now and until June 27, 2021. It is set to begin shipping 5-8 months after preorders close.

The Missing Soundtrack up for vinyl preorder via Limited Run Games

As announced yesterday Limited Run Games will be releasing the soundtrack to the game The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on pink and the other on red colored vinyl. It will be housed in a jacket with game art.

It is an open preorder that will be available until February 28, 2020. The album is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release 2-4 months after preorders close.

Limited Run Games to release the vinyl soundtrack to River City Girls

Limited Run Games have announced that they are releasing the soundtrack to the upcoming beat ’em up River City Girls on vinyl.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on blue and the other on pink vinyl. The records will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. The pressing will be limited to 1000 copies.

It is priced at $35 and there is no announced release date, but presumably it will come out around the physical game release in late September/early October.

It could be preordered from Limited Run Games here, but by the time of this post it has unfortunately sold out.
