Microids Records ready with vinyl preorders for Atari Recharged soundtrack

Microids Records have opened up preorders for a vinyl soundtrack release to the Atari Recharged game collection. It features new music made for the recharged versions of Breakout, Quantum, Berzerk, Gravitar, Missile Command, Black Widow, Asteroids, Caverns Of Mars, Centipede, and Yars.

The release will be a 2LP on purple and blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.

It is priced at €40 and is scheduled to release around January 17, 2025. It can be preordered via Microids Records here.

Music from the Atari 50 collection to be released on vinyl from Microids Records

Microids Records are releasing the music made for the Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration game collection. It includes the collection’s menu music and the music made for the 5 new reimagined games Quadratank, Yars’ Revenge Enhanced, Neo Breakout, VCTR-SCTR and Haunted Houses.

The release will be a single LP on gold-colored vinyl. It will be housed in a black jacket with the Atari 50 logo.

It is priced at around €36 and is scheduled to release in April, 2024. As of this post it is not yet available from Microids Records themselves, but several distributors are offering preorders now.

Cover 7″ of music from skateboarding game 720º now up for order

Full Tilt Records are releasing a 7″ with new arrangements of music from the arcade skateboarding game 720º performed by the band Metronome The City.

The release will be a 7″ on pink colored vinyl. There’s no details available about the packaging for the title.

The release is priced at $5 and appears to be ready to ship. It can be preordered from Full Tilt Records’ Bandcamp here.
