Musician Retro Game Remix is doing a new Earthbound arrangement album, which can now be backed on Kickstarter and it does include a vinyl release in one of its reward tiers.
If successful the release will be a single LP on 180g red splatter colored vinyl. It appears to be housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork.
The campaign runs from August 10, 2021 and ends on September 9, 2021 with a goal of $5,000 AUD. If the campaign is successful the vinyl release is scheduled to begin shipping out around February, 2022. It is priced at $40 AUD and it can be backed via Kickstarter here.
They’ve been teasing this one for a while, but now it’s available to preorder. Debug Records are releasing the album Mother Fucking Earthbound! on vinyl. The album is by ErichWK (known from Kirby’s Dream Band) and features new arrangements of tracks from the games MOTHER and Earthbound (MOTHER 2).
The release will be a 2LP on blue translucent vinyl with green splatter. It will come in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Maiko on the outer jacket and artwork by Barfchan on the inner. It will be a pressing of 500 copies.
Ship To Shore PhonoCo. have prepared a massive line-up of new releases and repressings for Black Friday and here you’ll have a breakdown of all six (!) titles. New releases first.
Continuing their Konami partnership they will have preorders for both Gradius II and III available.
Gradius II is a single LP that will feature the Famicom soundtrack on one side and the MSX soundtrack on the other. It will be available in multiple color variants – red vinyl with black splatter and clear vinyl from Ship To Shore, a clear and blue split with blue splatter from The Yetee, and a red-in-clear from Black Screen Records.
Gradius III is a 2LP that will feature the SNES soundtrack on one disc and the arcade soundtrack on the other. It will be available in multiple color variants – black vinyl with green splatter and clear vinyl from Ship To Shore, a clear and yellow split with yellow splatter from The Yetee, and a green-in-clear from Black Screen Records.
Both Gradius titles feature new artwork by Ian Wilding. Gradius II will come in a single pocket jacket while Gradius III will be gatefold. The artwork for all three Gradius titles line up in one long piece if lined up next to each other.
Cosmic Star Heroine was initially teased more than 2 years ago, but is now finally here. It will feature a selection of 15 tracks from the game picked by the composers.
It will be a single LP housed in a regular jacket with artwork by Drew Wise. It will be available on blue & black vinyl with red splatter from Ship To Shore, and on silver vinyl (limited to 400 copies) from Limited Run Games.
And now repress news! There will be new pressings for MOTHER, MOTHER 2 and Celeste available in new color variants.
MOTHER will be available on blue/yellow split from Ship To Shore, “Magicant and Flying Man” color from The Yetee, and an unannounced color from Fangamer.
MOTHER 2 will be available on “Tessie” purple from Ship To Shore, on “Fourside and Moonside” color from The Yetee, and an unannounced color from Fangamer.
Celeste will be available on clear vinyl from Ship To Shore.

The Yetee have announced that they will be releasing the Timeline EP on vinyl. The Timeline EP is a collaborative effort between VGM cover band Marshall Art and VGM cover musician Cory Johnson.
The release features prog/post-rock style chiptune and guitar arrangements of tracks from The Legend Of Zelda series, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and Undertale.
Followers of the artists might recognize the songs, but it’s worth noting that they have been completely re-recorded for this EP (except for MGLV from Undertale, which have instead been remixed and remastered for this release).
The release will be 45RPM 10″ on black vinyl with multicolor splatter. It comes in a single 10″ jacket and features new art by Drew Wise on the front and photography by Ami Moregore on the back.

The Adventures of Bayou Billy by Konami Kukeiha club will be a 7″ on swamp green marble. It comes with a Japanese-style OBI and an 11″ x 17″ poster with art by Austin James and liner notes by Jeremy Parish. The sleeve features original art by Drew Wise.
The Yetee will have an exclusive variant on clear with “Alligator Blood” red splatter colored vinyl.
The Adventures of Bayou Billy will be the first in a new series of releases titled “Konami Kukeiha Club Museum Series”, which will showcase soundtracks from lesser known games. The next release after Bayou Billy will be the Famicom version of Kid Dracula, so stay tuned for more info on that one later.
The MOTHER 2 soundtrack repress will be the fifth variant available (although the first four was released simultaneously). It comes on “Meteor” yellow with red splatter colored vinyl, but is otherwise identical to its original release.
The Adventures Of Bayou Billy will be priced at $14 and is scheduled to release later this month.
Ship To Shore Phono Co. recently announced that copies of the MOTHER Arranged Soundtrack would go open for pre-orders for non-Kickstarter backers tomorrow (August 26), but today they revealed that it will do so alongside pre-orders for the soundtrack to MOTHER 2: Giygas Strikes Back (known as EarthBound in the West).
The soundtrack by Hirokazu Tanaka & Keiichi Suzuki will be available in 4 different color variants: red/black swirl, blue/yellow split, hot spring pink, and good ol’ black.
Pre-orders for the MOTHER 2: Giygas Strikes Back will go live on Ship To Shore Phono Co.’s own webstore tomorrow at 1PM EST. The MOTHER Arranged Soundtrack is set to be released in November, 2015 while the MOTHER 2: Giygas Strikes Back soundtrack is set to be released early 2016.
