iam8bit have announced what – as of writing this – will be the largest game music vinyl release ever. A collection of all the music from Supergiant Games’ first three titles – Bastion, Transistor, and Pyre. And a small bonus from upcoming game Hades.
The box set will include 12 LPs and a 7″. All records will seemingly be included in their own sleeve inside the box. The entire set will feature new artwork by James Gilleard and will be limited to 1000 copies.
As a side note iam8bit have also confirmed that the box will have extra room to include the soundtrack to Hades, which will come out some time after the game is fully finished.
iam8bit have just announced that they are releasing the SNES soundtrack to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time on vinyl. It will also include a track and some soundbites from the arcade version of the game.
The release will be a single LP available in two variants – a “pizzasplosive” picture disc limited to 1000 copies, and a “big apple” green vinyl variant. The release will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Aled Lewis.
iam8bit have just announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the watercolor platformer Gris on vinyl.
The release will be a 2LP and available in two variants – a limited edition variant in 500 copies on black vinyl, that comes in a quadfold jacket and a standard edition on grey vinyl that comes in a gatefold jacket. Artwork for both variants is done by Conrad Roset.
iam8bit hav eannounced that they will release a 4LP set titled Hitman: The Critical Collection. It will feature music from Hitman: Codename 47, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money.
The set will be a 4LP with the records being on grey, white, black, and red vinyl. The set will be housed in a quadfold jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise. It will be limited to 2000 copies.
