Enjoy The Toons to release arrangement album The 8-Bit Time Paradox on vinyl

It was originally announced via an Indiegogo campaign from late last year, but now it’s gotten a proper announcement from Enjoy The Toons Records and a release date.

The 8-Bit Time Paradox is an arrangement album managed in large part by Giovanni Rotondo. It contains arrangements of music from Metroid, Breath Of The Wild, Final Fantasy VII, Ocarina Of Time, Mega Man, Titanfall 2, Shovel Knight, and Battlefield 1. The tracks are performed by several artists known for their video game music arrangements on Youtube and elsewhere on the internet.

The release will be a single LP housed in a GameBoy game-inspired single pocket jacket with art by Jeff Langevin. It will be available in three color variants – “cartridge” grey, “boss battle” purple-in-clear with white splatter, and “time paradox” purple smoke. The two former are limited to 200 copies each and the latter 100 copies.

The release is priced at $21 through Enjoy The Toons Records, and £23 through Giovanni Rotondo’s Bandcamp.

Orders open through Enjoy The Toons’ store here on May 5, 2018. It can already be ordered through Giovanni Rotondo’s Bandcamp here, which ships from the UK instead of the US.

Mondo to release the soundtrack to the new God Of War

The vinyl release was confirmed by composer Bear McCreary a few days ago, and now Mondo have announced almost out of nowhere, that they are the ones releasing it.

The release will be a 180g 2LP available on both black and colored vinyl. They haven’t specified what the colors will be yet. It is housed in a jacket with printed inners and new artwork by Jeff Langevin.

It is priced at $35 and is scheduled to release mid-June 2018. It can be preordered from Mondo here now.
