Curaga Records have opened up vinyl preorders for a new entry in their Video Game LoFi series of lofi arrangement albums and now it’s the Metroid series’ turn.
The release will be a single 180g LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a holo-foil single-pocket jacket with artwork by Save Point and ArtByGalen.
Respawned Records are ready with vinyl preorders for a new Metroid series arrangement album called Phazon Mutations.
The release will be a single LP available in two color variants – a “galaxy” pink and green swirl with black splatter variant, and a “Mutation Hazard” green and red pinwheel with black splatter variant. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Abigail Griglock (Silvermilk) and also includes an art insert.
Sam Dillard have just launched a Kickstarter campaign for a physical release of a “recharged” version of his Metroid Cinematica arrangement album. The vinyl reward tiers will be handled by Mango Mage Records.
The release will be a 45RPM 4LP set available in three variants: A standard variant on blue translucent marbled colored vinyl, a Kickstarter exclusive variant on red, green, gold and blue colored vinyl (500 copies), and a Wax Mage variant in a custom hand-made color pattern (20 copies). The standard variant will ship in a quadfold jacket, while the Kickstarter and Wax Mage variants will be in a quadfold jacket within a wooden box set.
The campaign runs from now and until November 22, 2021 with a goal of $10,000 (and as of this post this has already been met). Vinyl rewards are scheduled to begin shipping out in December, 2022. The standard variant is $80, the Kickstarter variant is $130 and the Wax Mage is $300 (sold out as of this post). The campaign can be backed on Kickstarter here.
GameChops have just launched a vinyl campaign on Bandcamp for their Metroid series lo-fi arrangement album Samus & Chill. The release will feature arrangements of tracks from Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 3, Metroid: Other M and Metroid: Samus Returns.
The release will be a single LP on blue colored vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork.
It is priced at $25 and the campaign runs from now and until October 29, 2021. If the campaign is successful records are scheduled to ship out in March, 2022.
It’s been teased for a long, long time, but it is finally here. One Run Records’ debut release Metroid Resynthesized is in stock and ready to order. It is an analog synthesizer arrangement album of the soundtrack to Metroid.
The release is a single LP on black and red swirl vinyl with white and green “Metroid Larve” splatter cut at 45RPM. It will come in a single pocket jacket with UV spot gloss print featuring artwork by Ben Shuar. It also comes with an art insert.
Hello Sir Records have just opened a listing for a vinyl release of Bit Brigade’s Metroid rock arrangement album. It features arrangements from Metroid, Metroid II: Return Of Samus, and Super Metroid.
The release will be a single LP on “Kelly” green translucent vinyl with red splatter. It will come in a regular LP jacket with the artwork from the original digital release by Noah McCarthy.
It was originally announced via an Indiegogo campaign from late last year, but now it’s gotten a proper announcement from Enjoy The Toons Records and a release date.
The 8-Bit Time Paradox is an arrangement album managed in large part by Giovanni Rotondo. It contains arrangements of music from Metroid, Breath Of The Wild, Final Fantasy VII, Ocarina Of Time, Mega Man, Titanfall 2, Shovel Knight, and Battlefield 1. The tracks are performed by several artists known for their video game music arrangements on Youtube and elsewhere on the internet.
The release will be a single LP housed in a GameBoy game-inspired single pocket jacket with art by Jeff Langevin. It will be available in three color variants – “cartridge” grey, “boss battle” purple-in-clear with white splatter, and “time paradox” purple smoke. The two former are limited to 200 copies each and the latter 100 copies.
The release is priced at $21 through Enjoy The Toons Records, and £23 through Giovanni Rotondo’s Bandcamp.
