Cartridge Thunder have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Comix Zone on vinyl. The release will include both the original soundtrack as well as the Sega Tunes arranged album.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on black with white splatter and the other on red and yellow swirl colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Tony DeZuniga and graphic design and layout by Jack Pochop.

Preorders opened on September 30, 2020 and it was scheduled to release in January, 2021. However, it has since been pushed to April, 2021.
