iam8bit have released a collection of music from various Rare games on vinyl in celebration of the studio’s 40th anniversary.
The release is a 4LP on orange marble, blue marble, red marble and purple marble “Shades of Rareware” colored vinyl.
It is housed in an open-lid box set with printed jackets all with artwork by Lewy Jones. It also comes with a Rare logo zoetrope felt slipmat.
Orders opened on August 7, 2025 and it began shipping out shortly after.
Respawned Records have released the Perfect Dark lofi arrangement album “Agent Dark” on vinyl.
The release is a single LP on “extraterrestrial” blue with pink and white swirl colored vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Michael Lee.
Preorders opened on August 9, 2024. It was scheduled to release in Q4 2024, but was delayed and released in late April, 2025.
Grant Kirkhope, Graeme Norgate and David Clynicks’s soundtrack will be released as a 2LP with one red splatter and one blue splatter disc by iam8bit. Limited to 3000 copies.
Orders opened on August 4 and it was scheduled for a November, 2015 release. Copies started going out already in late October, 2015.
