Mondo confirmed in a live stream in 2020 that they would be releasing the soundtrack to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty on vinyl. On June 26, 2024 it was finally properly announced.

The release is a 3LP. It is housed in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by Stephen Green.

Preorders opened on June 26, 2024 and it was scheduled to release in October, 2024. However, it was delayed and began shipping in May, 2025.

This is the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive variant on green-and-white pinwheel, blue and clear triple split, and black and clear triple split colored vinyl.
It was made available to preorder during SDCC 2024, but wasn’t actually available at the event.
