Cataclismo Original Soundtrack

Digital Sun Games made a vinyl soundtrack of the music to their game Cataclismo available as part of the “Scholar” tier for the game’s Kickstarter campaign.

The release will be a single LP on clear vinyl. It appears to be housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art.

The campaign ran between October 10 to November 10, 2023 and rewards were scheduled to start shipping in May, 2024. However, the game released in early access in July, 2024 and there is currently no ETA on when the vinyl rewards will be shipping.

Nobody Saves The World

Jim Guthrie launched a successful Bandcamp vinyl campaign for his soundtrack to Nobody Saves The World.

The release is a 2LP on yellow and white colored vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Augusto Quijano.

The campaign ran from August 24 to September 23, 2022 and it was scheduled to start shipping in February, 2023. However, it was delayed and began shipping in late April, 2023.

Bleak Sword Original Score

Jim Guthrie launched a successful Bandcamp vinyl pressing campaign for his soundtrack to Bleak Sword.

The release is a single LP on red translucent colored vinyl. It is housed in a regular LP jacket with game art.

The campaign ran from September 13 to October 14, 2021. It released in late January, 2022.

Sword & Sworcery (Super Deluxe Edition)

iam8bit have released the full soundtrack + remixes for Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP on vinyl.

The release is a 2LP with one record on green translucent vinyl and the other on clear & green translucent split vinyl. The release comes in a gatefold jacket with new glow-in-the-dark artwork by Drew Wise. It includes a poster with art by Scott Benson and a slipmat.

Preorders opened on February 28, 2019 and it released late June, 2019.

Below (Official Soundtrack)

Jim Guthrie confirmed on Twitter that his soundtrack to the game Below will be released on vinyl.

On April 17, 2019 Guthrie launched a crowdfunding campaign, as part of Bandcamp’s new vinyl crowdfunding, for the Below soundtrack. The campaign reached it’s $10,500 goal on finished on May 18, 2019.

The release is a 2LP with one record on blue and the other on purple vinyl. It comes in a triple gatefold jacket with die-cat and foil-stamped inner sleeves.

The vinyl rewards were scheduled to ship out in July, 2019, but were delayed and began shipping in mid-August, 2019.

Planet Coaster Soundtrack

Jim Guthrie stated that “we are working on it” when asked about a vinyl release for his and J.J. Ipsen’s soundtrack to the theme park sim Planet Coaster. He also stated the the release would not be self-published as his previous releases, but rather handled by Frontier – the company behind the game.

On March 10, 2017 iam8bit announced that they would be releasing the soundtrack on vinyl.

The release is a 2LP on purple and pink colored vinyl and features new artwork from Syd Weiler. Copies preordered between March 10-19, 2017 comes with a slipmat.

Preorders opened on March 10, 2017 and released in mid-July 2017.

Indie Game: The Movie (Official Soundtrack)

This 2LP release contains Jim Guthrie’s soundtrack to the 2012 indie game documentary “Indie Game: The Movie”, including a few compositions he’s made for games. It was released by Dark Flute.

Sword & Sworcery LP – The Ballad Of The Space Babies

Jim Guthrie’s full soundtrack to Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP have been released in a series of different pressings with special art prints (and without). All pressings have been released by Dark Flute.

It was revealed in a retrospective article by The Verge and by Jim Guthrie on Twitter that the repress will be on “space baby blue” vinyl to commemorate the game’s 5 year anniversary and it is limited to 450 copies.

Orders opened on March 24, 2016 and the release started shipping early/mid April 2016.

A 7″ featuring a track by SCNTFC and their remix of The Ballad Of The Space Babies have been released by Venus Patrol.

This is the “Bright Moon” promo white vinyl version which was shipped out to some Kickstarter backers.

Originally intended as a backer reward for backers of the Venus Patrol gaming website, this was later released for individual purchase through SCNTFC’s Bandcamp.

This is the “New Moon” black vinyl version which is limited to 450 copies.
