R-Type Original Sound Box

NIS America announced that would be releasing a box set with a selection of tracks from games in the R-Type franchise on vinyl.

The release is a 5LP set. Each record will be housed in a spined sleeve within a slipcase box set. It alsos include a tracklist booklet and a download card for 370 tracks.

Preorders opened on April 30, 2021 and it released in early July, 2021.

R-Type ~ Irem Game Music

LP released in 1988 by G.M.O. Records and Alfa. It contains 10 tracks from the games R-Type, Kid Niki: Radical Ninja, Yojuden, Moon Patrol, Kickle Cubele, Lode runner I-IV, and Mr. Heli.
