Gimmick! Official Arranged Soundtrack

Brave Wave and Black Screen Records have released the arrangement album “Gimmick! Official Arranged Soundtrack” on vinyl.

The release is a 2LP on 180g “neon” green colored vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Hitoshi Ariga. It includes liner notes by original composer Masashi Kageyama.

Preorders opened on January 24, 2025. It was scheduled to release in April, 2025, but was delayed and released in late May, 2025.

Signed copies were initially available to order, but had to be cancelled eventually due to logistics. People who ordered signed copies received a set of stickers instead.

Giants

Brave Wave and Black Screen Records have teamed up to release the album Giants, which features new arrangements and original tracks from game composers.

The release is a 3LP on 180g “curacao” light blue colored vinyl. It is housed in a box set with art by Andrew Elmore and Matt Cummings. It includes a 20-page booklet with liner notes.

Preorders opened on January 19, 2024 and it was scheduled to release in April, 2024, but was delayed and released in August, 2024.

This is the standard edition. It is mostly identical to the deluxe, but without the numbering and extras.

Giants

Brave Wave and Black Screen Records have teamed up to release the album Giants, which features new arrangements and original tracks from game composers.

This is the deluxe edition, which is limited to 300 hand-numbered copies and includes a certificate signed by several of the featured artists. It also includes a cassette tape with demo tracks and early recordings.

A Sunsoft video announcement confirmed that Ship To Shore PhonoCo. would be releasing the soundtrack to Gimmick! on vinyl. The release was formally announced on September 19, 2022.

The release is a single LP. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Mushbuh and includes an insert with liner notes by Anthony John Agnello and an interview with composer Masashi Kageyama.

Preorders opened on September 20, 2022 and it released in March, 2023.

This is the retail variant on clear vinyl.
