The Tomb Raider Suite

Nathan McCree, the original composer for the first three Tomb Raider games, launched a succesful Kickstarter for an arranged recording of music from said games.

The recording will take place in Abbey Road Studios with a 76-piece still unknown orchestra and a choir.

The release will be a 2LP on black vinyl housed in a gatefold cover. There will be three cover variants available – modern Lara, classic Lara and a gold ultimate edition. The latter is only available in 50 copies distributed randomly to backers.

The project was launched on May 26, 2017 with a goal of £160,000 and was succesfully funded on June 25, 2017.

Rewards were planned to ship in November 2017, but due to the recordings being delayed so is the release.
On January 12, 2018 the recordings got a new website that let non-backers preorder the release as well. The release ETA on that shop is for May 2018.

In April 2018 it was announced that the release would be further delayed with an expected release dato of around August 1, 2018.
