Developer Elden Pixels posted a fan mockup of a vinyl soundtrack for their game Alwa’s Awakening on Twitter asking if this is something people would want. The reception was positive and they said they’d look into it.

On September 22, 2020 Thunderful Publishing announced that they would be releasing it on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on green translucent vinyl. It is housed in a regular LP jacket with artwork by Manuel Samolo and Dane Baudoin. It is limited to 250 copies.

Orders opened on November 26, 2020 and it began shipping shortly after.
