The Scheme: 21st Century Revival

Limited Run Games will be releasing a new arrangement album of music from The Scheme on vinyl. The arrangement will be handled by original composer Yuzo Koshiro.

The release will be a single LP available in two variants – a black vinyl variant and a gold colored vinyl variant (that also includes a card signed by Yuzo Koshiro).
It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Ken Sugimori.

Preorders were initially scheduled to open in Autumn, 2022 but that didn’t happen. Preorders finally opened on September 19, 2023 as an open preorder until October 22, 2023. It is scheduled to release 8-9 months after preorders close.

Fields Of Ys

Streaming Arrow Records have released a compilation featuring the overworld themes from the numbered main entries in the Ys series.

The release is a single 180g LP. It is housed in a heavy single-pocket jacket.

Preorders opened on August 10, 2021.

This is the limited edition variant on green translucent with green splatter colored vinyl.

Ys Healing

Streaming Arrow Records have released the Ys and Ys II arrangement album Ys Healing on vinyl.

The release is a 180g 2LP. It is housed in a heavy single-pocket jacket and side D features an etching.

Preorders opened on August 10, 2021 and it was scheduled to release in May, 2022, but was delayed and began shipping in late June, 2022.

This is the variant on black vinyl.

Preorders opened on January 19, 2022 and it was scheduled to release in March, 2022, but released early in mid-February, 2022.

This is the standard edition on “amber crystal” orange translucent colored vinyl.

Ys Origin Original Soundtrack

The release is a 2LP on in two variants. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It also includes a 12-page booklet with artwork.

Preorders opened on January 19, 2022 and it was scheduled to release in March, 2022, but released early in mid-February, 2022.

This is the limited edition on “amber” orange translucent marble colored vinyl, which is limited to 400 copies. Early preorders also included a shikishi art print.

Infinity Arranged Soundtrack

Incube8 games included a reward tier with an arranged soundtrack vinyl reward in their Kickstarter campaign for the game Infinity.

The format of the release isn’t entirely clear as the mockup depicts a 7″ record, but it is referred to as an album and the center label appears to show several tracks.

The campaign ran from August 18, 2021 to September 17, 2021. Vinyl reward tiers were scheduled to ship in September, 2022. However the game release has been pushed to 2024, so presumably vinyl rewards won’t be shipping until some time after that.

VGM Jams Mixtape Vol. 1

A group effort for creating an arrangement album of music from different games was successfully funded on Qrates under the title “VGM Jams Mixtape Vol. 1”.

The release is a single LP on 180g black vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Joe Astro.

The campaign ran from May 31, 2021 and ended successfully on June 19, 2021. It was scheduled to release 2-3 months from the campaign finish, but was delayed and released in late January, 2022.
