The release is a 45RPM 2LP. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Yoshitaka Amano. It also comes with an obi and an insert with liner notes.

Preorders opened on June 13, 2025. It was scheduled to release in Q3 2025, but was delayed and released in November, 2025.

This is the “Wax Mage” edition on custom purple and white swirl colored vinyl. It was limited to 21 publicly available copies.

Preorders opened on April 21, 2025 and it released in May 2025.

Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary Vinyl -Timeless Tale-

Square Enix Music have released a selection of original versions of the “Melodies Of Life” song alongside new 2025 re-recording of the song.

The release is a single LP on black vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new illustrations by Toshiyuki Itahana. It includes a booklet with song lyrics and liner notes as well as a download card.

Preorders opened on March 31, 2025 and it is scheduled to release around July 9, 2025.

Refractions

The release is a single LP on “coke bottle” green translucent colored vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork. It is limited to 250 copies.
