Chocobo & Chill

GameChops have released the Final Fantasy arrangement album Chocobo & Chill on vinyl after a successful Bandcamp campaign.

The release is a single LP available on “Chocobo” yellow colored vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with painting by Liz Clayton Fuller and design by Sean Therlow.

The campaign ran from January 7 to February 8, 2022. It was scheduled to release in June, 2022, but was and released in December, 2022.

Distant Worlds V: More Music From Final Fantasy

The Distant Worlds Twitter account announced that AWR Records would be releasing the Distant Worlds V arrangement album on vinyl.

The release is a 2LP on clear vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with session photography and credits.

Orders opened on November 29, 2021 and it began shipping shortly after.

Heroes And Villains Third

Square Enix have released a series of compilations LPs with character and battle themes from the Final Fantasy series. This is the third release in that series.

The release is a single LP on black vinyl. It is housed in a tip-on jacket with illustrations by Tetsuya Nomura.

Preorders opened on October 22, 2021 and it released on February 28, 2022 in Japan and March 28, 2022 elsewhere.

KupoCon have released the second volume of Mogzart Final Fantasy arrangement series albums on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on yellow colored vinyl. It is housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork. It is limited to 200 copies.

Preorders opened on March 7, 2023 and it released in early June, 2023.

Mogzart Volume One

KupoCon announced that they will be releasing four Mogzart albums with arrangements of music from the Final Fantasy series on vinyl. This is the first release in that series.

The release is a single LP on blue colored vinyl. It is housed in a regular LP jacket with new artwork.

Preorders opened on March 15, 2022 and released in September, 2022.

Melodies Of Midgar

KupoCon have released the Final Fantasy VII arrangement album Melodies Of Midgar on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on “Mako” green translucent vinyl. It is housed in a regular LP jacket. The release is limited to 200 copies.

Orders opened on April 10, 2021 (with later orders opening on May 8) and they began shipping out shortly after.

Black Materia: The Remake

Mega Ran launched a Kickstarter to fund a vinyl release of a remake of his Black Materia hip hop arrangement album of Final Fantasy VII.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on dark green with heavy green and light blue splatter and the other on dark green with heavy blue and light green splatter. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork.

The campaign launched on October 11, 2019 and was successfully funded on November 10, 2019. It was initially scheduled to release in September, 2020, but was delayed due to COVID-19 delaying the production of the album.

On January 25, 2021 GameChops launched a Bandcamp vinyl pressing campaign for funding additional vinyl copies of this album, which will be the same copies given out to backers of the Kickstarter campaign.

The vinyl release was scheduled to release in May, 2021, but was delayed several times and began shipping out in November, 2021.

The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 1

Silva Screen and Diggers Factory have released the 2011 orchestral arrangement album “The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 1” on vinyl.

The release is a single 140g black vinyl LP. It is housed in a regular LP jacket with a slightly modified version of its original 2011 digital cover art. It is limited to 1300 copies.

Preorders opened on July 14, 2020 and it released in September, 2020.
