New Galaxian

This is a promotional version of Droids’ album “Star Peace” re-titled “New Galaxian” and only released in Spain. It differs from the original album by having a disco song with added sound effects from the Galaxian game.

There’s some discussion going on about whether this was released in 1978 alongside or before the commercial “Star Peace” release, or later in 1979 to promote the New Galaxian arcade machines in Spain. If it was released in 1978 this could be well be the oldest game-related vinyl release.

Namcot Game A La Mode

LP released in 1986 by Victor. It contains 9 tracks from the games Valkyrie no Bōken: Toki no Kagi Densetsu, Mappy, Warp Man, Galaxian, Galaga, Star Luster, Xevious, Tower Of Babel, Battle City, Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Sky Kid, and Libble Rabble. Some of the tracks are medleys with music from several games.
