On January 2, 2018 Super Soul Bros. replied to a tweet asking for a vinyl version of their Motherlode album saying there will be one “in the next month or two”.
Motherlode is a jazz/funk arrangement of music from the MOTHER trilogy.
As of late December 2019 it’s been more than a month or two, and there’s not been any more info on whether this is still planned.
Ship To Shore Phono Co. succesfully funded a Kickstarter-campaign that allowed them to officially release the orchestral soundtrack to the first game in the MOTHER series (known as Earthbound Beginning in the West).
The Kickstarter is closed now, but they opened pre-orders for non-backers on August 26, 2015 and started shipping December, 2015.
The soundtrack is available in three variants. This is the classic black vinyl version, which is limited to 1000 copies.
