In a newsletter e-mail for Shin Megami Tensei III/V sent on November 16, 2022 Fangamer had a subtle graphic saying “SMTV Vinyl 2023”. The release was formally announced on March 14, 2024.

The release is a 5LP set on blue with black marble, red with black marble, light blue with white marble, purple with black marble and orange with black marble colored vinyl.
It is housed in a slipcase box set with printed sleeves all featuring new artwork by Toni Infante. It also includes an insert with credits and tracklist.

Orders opened on March 14, 2024 and it began shipping out shortly after.
