VGM Jams Mixtape Vol. 1

A group effort for creating an arrangement album of music from different games was successfully funded on Qrates under the title “VGM Jams Mixtape Vol. 1”.

The release is a single LP on 180g black vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Joe Astro.

The campaign ran from May 31, 2021 and ended successfully on June 19, 2021. It was scheduled to release 2-3 months from the campaign finish, but was delayed and released in late January, 2022.

Beep 特別企画 ~Yuzo Koshiro Early Collection EX~

Copies of the Mega Drive Celebration Album CD preordered from Beep Shop in Japan came with a bonus flexi disc with alternate takes of tracks from The Revenge Of Shinobi and Streets Of Rage 2.

It is a red 33RPM 7″ flexi styled to look like the Beep flexi discs from the mid-to-late 80s.

Preorders opened on October 29, 2019 and it released with the CD on December 12, 2019.

Streets Of Rage 2

Data Discs have released the soundtrack to Streets Of Rage 2 on vinyl. The release comes in a 2LP gatefold cover with an OBI strip and includes 2 lithographic prints with artwork from the SEGA archives. The music have been remastered in collaboration with composer Yuzo Koshiro and includes four bonus tracks (demos, alternate versions, unused music).

The release was confirmed already in the Summer 2015 before Data Discs released their first titles.

The album was originally scheduled to have released earlier, but due to dissatisfaction with the first test pressings Data Discs started the work on the audio tracks from scratch and delayed the release until they were satisfied with the results.

This is the 2017 repress on clear vinyl.

Streets Of Rage 2

Data Discs have released the soundtrack to Streets Of Rage 2 on vinyl.
