Streets Of Rage 3

Data Discs have done a vinyl release for Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima’s soundtrack for the third entry in the Streets Of Rage series.

The release is  a 180g 2LP soundtrack housed in heavyweight LP jacket with artwork taken from the Japanese box art for the game. It comes with a lithographic print with the artwork on one side and liner notes by Koshiro on the back. Preorders from Data Discs own store also came with 3 post cards with game art.

Preorders opened on December 16, 2017 and it released mid-January 2018.

This is the limited edition variant on orange translucent vinyl with black smoke.

Streets Of Rage 2

Data Discs have released the soundtrack to Streets Of Rage 2 on vinyl. The release comes in a 2LP gatefold cover with an OBI strip and includes 2 lithographic prints with artwork from the SEGA archives. The music have been remastered in collaboration with composer Yuzo Koshiro and includes four bonus tracks (demos, alternate versions, unused music).

The release was confirmed already in the Summer 2015 before Data Discs released their first titles.  Preorders opened on February 27, 2016 and the first copies started shipping early April, 2016.

The album was originally scheduled to have released earlier, but due to dissatisfaction with the first test pressings Data Discs started the work on the audio tracks from scratch and delayed the release until they were satisfied with the results.

This is the limited edition variant on clear vinyl with black smoke and blood red splatter.

OutRun

Data Discs have released the soundtrack to OutRun on vinyl. The release is newly remastered and contains tracks from the Arcade, Mega Drive/Genesis, and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game.

Data Discs announced that they would release the soundtrack to OutRun back in September 2015. On June 21, 2016 they announced that they would release the album as part of the game’s 30th anniversary.

Preorders opened on June 25, 2016 and copies started shipping out on July 18, 2016.

This is the limited edition version on mint green, clear, and pink 3-striped vinyl. 50 of the limited edition copies were hand-numbered and signed by composer Hiroshi Kawaguchi. These copies were shipped out at random to people who preordered the release.

Super Hang-On

This is the limited edition clear with red, white, and blue splatter vinyl version.

The soundtrack by Hirofumi Murasaki, Morihiko Akiyama, and Masayuki Nagao will be released on vinyl by Data Discs. It was revealed in an article from The Guardian and later confirmed by the label itself. It available on oxblood and bone split vinyl, oxblood vinyl, and black vinyl. It was released on on October 2, 2015.

This is the black vinyl version.
