It was funded through a crowdfunding campaign that required a minimum of 200 backers.
The campaign opened on July 3, 2018 and is ending on August 3, 2018. Orders are scheduled to begin shipping no later than 4 months after the campaign ends.

Preorders opened on May 17, 2017 and was scheduled to release on November 16 , 2017, but hit a small manufacturing delay and released around the end of November 2017.
