MOTHER

In Fall 2019 Sony Music Japan announced that their sublabel Great Tracks would be releasing a 30th anniversary edition of the MOTHER soundtrack on vinyl.

The release is a 2LP on clear vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Katsumi Asaba and Masaharu Takada.

It released on December 25, 2019 and was followed by an identical repress in January, 2020.

The release is almost identical to the Ship To Shore releases of this soundtrack, but this one features an extended version of the medley track “The World Of MOTHER” on Side D and doesn’t come with an obi. There are also minor differences in the layout and package design.

Kowloon’s Gate Soundtrack

Great Tracks and Sony Music Direct have released the soundtrack to Kowloon’s Gate on vinyl.

It is a single LP on red translucent vinyl. It comes in a regular LP jacket with an obi strip. It includes an insert with credits and liner notes.

Preorders opened on October 26, 2019 and it released on December 25, 2019.
