Monument Valley Official Game Soundtrack Volumes 1 & 2

Iam8bit has released Stafford Bawler, OBFUSC and GRIGORI’s soundtrack to Monument Valley on vinyl. It is a 2LP set on 180g colored vinyl.  One disc will feature the base game’s soundtrack, while the other includes the soundtrack for the game’s expansions.

Pre-orders opened on January 28, 2016 and it began shipping in late May 2016.

 

The Banner Saga

Iam8bit has released Austin Wintory’s soundtrack to The Banner Saga. The 2LP set comes on one red and one cream white disc. The artwork for the record was done by Arnie Jorgensen who was the art director for the game.

Preorders opened on January 21, 2016 and the album was released mid-August 2016.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

A 3LP set with Greg Edmonson’s music from the Uncharted games have been released by iam8bit. The records will be 180g and each have a different color – red, blue, and green. Artwork is done by We Buy Your Kids.

Release date was set to be in Q1 2016 and copies started shipping out in late March, 2016.

 

Guild Wars 2: Heart Of Thorns

The soundtrack to the Guild Wars 2 expansion Heart Of Thorns has been released on vinyl by iam8bit. The soundtrack by Maclaine Diemer, Lena Chappelle and Stan LePard comes on 2LP 180g green splatter vinyl.

It was announced in December 2015 and started shipping out in June 2016.

 

FTL: Faster Than Light

A 2LP with Ben Prunty’s soundtrack to FTL: Faster Than Light have been released on 180g “cosmic splatter” vinyl.

It was announced in October 2015 and started shipping late March 2016.

Dustforce

Iam8bit have released Lifeformed’s “Fastfall – Dustforce OST” on vinyl. It comes on clear vinyl with swirl effects and is limited to 1000 copies. It comes with a code for the game and the full digital soundtrack. The soundtrack is specially mastered for this vinyl release and has new artwork by Drew Wise.

It was set to be released in Q1 2016, but due to a minor delay it started shipping mid-April 2016 instead.

BIT.TRIP’s Greatest Chips

A compilation record with music from the BIT.TRIP games (Runner, Beat, Void,  Core, Fate, and Flux) have been released by iam8bit. It is a picture disc with art by Drew Wise. It’s limited to 1500 copies and pre-orders opened on August 26 with shipping starting late December, 2015.

The release also included a download code for all the games + the full digital soundtracks (including Runner 2 even though no music from that game is on the record).

TRON Evolution

A 12″ picture disc EP with Sascha Dikiciyan’s music from TRON Evolution was released by iam8bit in 2010. 200 copies were pressed and most were shipped exclusively to gaming journalists.

Super Hexagon EP

Iam8bit released an EP with Chipzel’s music on a hexagon-shaped vinyl record. There is 4 different colors sent out randomly. It is limited to 1600 copies (400 of each color) and was released on November, 2015.

The vinyl version features 2 tracks from the game that was never released on any format before.

This is the red vinyl version.

NOTE TO OWNERS: This release came shipped directly in a PVC sleeve. PVC sleeves are known to cause damage to vinyl records when they are placed directly within without proper protection such as an inner sleeve and/or a record jacket. This is a chemical reaction known as outgassing and the damage done will be permanent. It is highly recommended that you store the record outside of the sleeve.
