Super Hexagon EP

Iam8bit released an EP with Chipzel’s music on a hexagon-shaped vinyl record. There is 4 different colors sent out randomly. It is limited to 1600 copies (400 of each color) and was released on November, 2015.

The vinyl version features 2 tracks from the game that was never released on any format before.

This is the red vinyl version.

NOTE TO OWNERS: This release came shipped directly in a PVC sleeve. PVC sleeves are known to cause damage to vinyl records when they are placed directly within without proper protection such as an inner sleeve and/or a record jacket. This is a chemical reaction known as outgassing and the damage done will be permanent. It is highly recommended that you store the record outside of the sleeve.

Perfect Dark

Grant Kirkhope, Graeme Norgate and David Clynicks’s soundtrack will be released as a 2LP with one red splatter and one blue splatter disc by iam8bit. Limited to 3000 copies.

Orders opened on August 4 and it was scheduled for a November, 2015 release. Copies started going out already in late October, 2015.

Journey

A 2LP picture disc featuring Austin Wintory’s music to the PlayStation exclusive game have been released by iam8bit. It was originally scheduled for an August, 2015 release but was pushed to late October, 2015 because of a manufacturing issue.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

iam8bit have released the soundtrack to Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number on vinyl.

The release is a 3LP with one record on blue, one on pink and one on green colored vinyl. It comes in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by El Huervo. It also includes a steam code for a copy of the game.

It released on March 2, 2015.

Battletoads Original Soundtrack (SDCC Edition)

The full soundtrack by David Wise for the Battletoads game. This is the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive version released in July, 2015. The record is limited to 300 copies and comes on green marbed vinyl. It was released by iam8bit.

The artwork is done by Nick Gazin.

This release features different gatefold artwork from the regular version, an embossed cover, and also includes a sound chip that plays the cutscene music from the game when opened. It is also known as the “Dark Queen” variant as a reference to the different gatefold art.

Battletoads Original Soundtrack

The full soundtrack by David Wise for the Battletoads game. This is the regular version released in October, 2015 (with pre-orders opening on August 4). The record is limited to 3000 copies and comes on green marbed vinyl. It was released by iam8bit.

The artwork is done by Nick Gazin.

Banjo-Kazooie

Grant Kirkhope’s soundtrack has been released as a 2LP with one brown and one red disc by iam8bit. Limited to 3000 copies. Pre-orders opened on August 4 and it was scheduled for a November, 2015 release. Orders started shipping already in late October, 2015.
