Preorders opened on August 9, 2024. It was scheduled to release in Q4 2024, but was delayed and released in late April, 2025.

This is the recalled cover variant on “Snake” white with red and black splatter colored vinyl. The cover used on this very closely resembles the official Metal Gear logo and was recalled presumably for copyright reasons in order to have the logo changed. Some copies eventually made it out for distribution anyway in May, 2024.
