Taito’s The Ninjawarriors (Zuntata Arcade Classics Volume 5)

In Summer 2022 Ship To Shore PhonoCo. sold a series of “mystery test pressings”, which included some unannounced titles. The soundtrack to The Ninja Warriors was among these. It was formally announced on October 31, 2022.

The release is a single LP. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with original product sketch artwork and includes liner notes by composer Hisayoshi Ogura.

Preorders opened on November 1, 2022 and it was scheduled to release in Q2 2023, but released early in February, 2023.

This is the retail variant on clear vinyl.

RayForce

Taito have released the soundtrack to RayForce on vinyl as part of several different physical editions of the “Ray’s Arcade Chronology” collection on PS4 and Switch.

The release is a single LP on black vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with design by Triball and graphic design by Yuko Kanja. It includes an insert with information and liner notes by hally.

Preorders opened on July 12, 2022 and it released on March 9, 2023.

Storia Powered By Square Enix (Zuntata Selection)

Square Enix have released a compilation LP with tracks from Zuntata. The release was made for one of their Storia Café events in Japan.

It is a single LP on black vinyl housed in a regular LP jacket.

It was released for the event on January 30, 2019.

Arcade Classics Volume Three

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. are releasing a series of compilation albums with music from Taito arcade games.

Back in February 2016 they revealed that Bubble Bobble, Gun Frontier and PuLiRuLa would be on one of these. In an interview with GamesRadar in December 2016 it was revealed that Bubble Symphony and RayForce will also be included.

On December 1, 2017 Ship To Shore posted a video of a test pressing of this release playing a track from PuLiRuLa and stating it would be released in early 2018.

It is a single LP and is housed in a gatefold jacket with art from the games. The gatefold features liner notes by Jeremy Parish.

Preorders opened on April 12, 2018 and it released mid-May 2018.

The is the version on blue opaque vinyl. It was available exclusively via VinylDigital and is limited to 300 copies.

Arcade Classics Volume 2 – Darius

As part of their collaboration with Taito, Ship To Shore PhonoCo. have released Zuntata’s soundtrack to Darius on vinyl. It is the second entry in the Taito Arcade Classics series.

It is the full arcade soundtrack with a new master from Taito’s archives. It features liner notes from Hisayoshi Ogura and Anthony John Agello.

Preorders opened on April 12, 2017and it released late April, 2017.

This is the blue and red marbled variant. It’s limited to 350 copies and was sold exclusively through Limited Run Games.

There was some controversy regarding this pressing as it had been marketed with a sample image that had a much more significant color effect than the final product.
