The Kickstarter for the game Steamdolls: Order Of Chaos featured a vinyl soundtrack option as a backer reward and add-on.
There are not a lot of details on the vinyl release, but the mockups indicate it will be a single LP on black vinyl.
The vinyl soundtrack is currently scheduled to release alongside the game in May, 2021. As of January, 2026 the game is still in development, thus there is currently no ETA for when this will begin shipping.
The Kickstarter campaign for the game Sea Of Stars included a vinyl soundtrack reward as part of the $160 CAD “A hero to be remembered” backer tier. The vinyl release is handled by iam8bit. On January 18, 2024 a standard commercial release was also announced.
The release is a 2LP. It is housed in an embossed gatefold jacket with artwork by Bryce Kho.
This is the Kickstarter backer variant on blue “lunar” marble and orange “solar” marble colored vinyl. It is limited to 3000 copies. Backer variants were initially scheduled to ship out in March, 2022, but with the game’s delay from its original estimate it didn’t ship until late August, 2024.
Ebb Software succesfully funded their Kickstarter campaign for the game “Scorn Part 1 of 2: Dasein”. The campaign was launched on September 5, 2017 with a goal of €150,000 and finished on October 5, 2017 with a little over €190,000. It was later confirmed that Laced Records would be handling the vinyl release.
The campaign included an option for a vinyl release with a selection of songs from the soundtrack at the €100 tier (or higher).
The release is a 2LP on black vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Ebb Software.
The tiers with physical rewards were originally scheduled to release in October, 2018. Preorders from Laced Records shipped out in April, 2023, while copies from the Kickstarter shipped out later.
A vinyl release of the soundtrack to the upcoming game The Artful Escape Of Francis Vendetti was among the backer rewards for game’s Kickstarter. The Kickstarter was unsuccessful, but work continued on the game. The game shortened its name to The Artful Escape and released in 2021 and on November 15, 2022 the new vinyl release was formally announced.
The release is a 2LP on “psychedelic” clear with pink splatter colored vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Jim Rugg.
Preorders opened on November 17, 2022 and it was scheduled to release in Q2 2023. However, it was delayed and shipped in late September, 2023.
