On January 9, 2017 they announced the release date along with details. It featurse new artwork by Eric Powell and be a gatefold like the first release.
Mondo began taking orders on January 11, 2017 and started shipping shortly after.

Giovanni Rotondo launched an Indiegame campaign for an album of video game cover tracks. The campaign was aiming to raise £10,000 by December 24, 2017 for a symphonic recording of the album.
While the campaign failed to reach its goal, the album is still coming out (just without the symphonic parts).

Brave Wave have released a 4LP box set with the NES and arcade soundtracks to Ninja Gaiden, and the soundtracks to Ninja Gaiden II and III.
The box contain two gatefold albums one with the NES/Arcade soundtracks for Ninja Gaiden on orange and red vinyl, and the other with Ninja Gaiden II and III on blue and yellow vinyl.
