Giants

Brave Wave and Black Screen Records have teamed up to release the album Giants, which features new arrangements and original tracks from game composers.

The release is a 3LP on 180g “curacao” light blue colored vinyl. It is housed in a box set with art by Andrew Elmore and Matt Cummings. It includes a 20-page booklet with liner notes.

Preorders opened on January 19, 2024 and it was scheduled to release in April, 2024, but was delayed and released in August, 2024.

This is the standard edition. It is mostly identical to the deluxe, but without the numbering and extras.

Video Game LoFi: Kirby

Curaga Records have released the arrangement album “Video Game LoFi: Kirby” on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on pink marble colored vinyl. It is housed in a metallic foil jacket with new art by Save Point and ArtByGalen.

Preorders opened on July 5, 2024 and it released in early April, 2024.

The Stable Trotters

Giovanni Rotondo launched successful a Kickstarter campaign for his Zelda series arrangement album, The Stable Trotters.

The release will be a single LP available in three color variants – a “Silent Princess” blue marble colored variant, a “Sundelion” black, orange and yellow “wax mage” colored variant (25 copies), and a “Fairy Fountain” pink splatter “wax mage” colored variant (50 copies).
It will be housed in a jacket with new artwork by Jae Sern.

The campaign ran between May 8 – June 10, 2024 and rewards are scheduled to begin shipping in December, 2024.

This is the deluxe edition, which is limited to 300 hand-numbered copies and includes a certificate signed by several of the featured artists. It also includes a cassette tape with demo tracks and early recordings.

Curaga Records have released the Zelda series arrangement album “Video Game LoFi: Zelda Vol. 2 – Doors Of Time” on vinyl.

The release is a single LP. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new art by Save Point and ArtByGalen.

Preorders opened on January 5, 2024 and it is released in mid-February, 2024.

Restart – Finnish Game Music Revised

Game Music Collective have released the orchestral arrangement album “Restart – Finnish Game Music Revised” on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on black vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with cover art by Tarmio Juhola.

The album released in October, 2023.

VGM Essentials: Halloween

Firaga Records have released the arrangement album VGM Essentials: Halloween on vinyl.

The release is a single 180g LP on orange translucent colored vinyl. It is housed in a jacket with new artwork by Ginkgo.

Orders opened on October 6, 2023 and it began shipping out shortly after.

Tengami

Mana Wave have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Tengami on vinyl.

There are currently no further details on this release.

Assassin’s Creed – Leap Into History

Laced Records have released a compilation with a selection of music from all 12 mainline Assassin’s Creed games on vinyl.

The release will be a 5LP set available. It is housed in a gold-foil box set with game art.

Preorders opened on July 11, 2022 and it was scheduled to release in January, 2023. However, it was delayed and released in Februray, 2023.

This is the standard variant on black vinyl.

Video Game LoFi: A Winter’s Tale

Curaga Records have released the lofi arrangement album “Video Game LoFi: A Winter’s Tale” on vinyl.

The release is a 180g single LP. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with artwork by Save Point and design by Isa Alcántara.

Preorders opened on November 11, 2022 and released around November 24, 2022.

This is the “Snow” variant on white colored vinyl. It is limited to 700 copies.
