The Pink Album

This is an album made by Kirby’s Dream Band featuring rock covers of music from mainly Kirby’s Dream Land, but also Street Fighter II, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Chrono Trigger, Cave Story, Final Fantasy IV, and Pokémon Red & Blue.

It is a 2LP. It comes in a gatefold jacket with a pink front cover and gatefold art by Maiko with each band member drawn as Kirby.

This is the 2017 repress. It comes with an obi and the records are on cream white vinyl with pink splatter. It is limited to 250 copies.

Tanglewood OST

In an episode of the Video Game Grooves podcast Respawned Records announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Tanglewood on vinyl.

There are currently no further details on this release.

Beep 特別企画 ~Yuzo Koshiro Early Collection EX~

Copies of the Mega Drive Celebration Album CD preordered from Beep Shop in Japan came with a bonus flexi disc with alternate takes of tracks from The Revenge Of Shinobi and Streets Of Rage 2.

It is a red 33RPM 7″ flexi styled to look like the Beep flexi discs from the mid-to-late 80s.

Preorders opened on October 29, 2019 and it released with the CD on December 12, 2019.

Vectormania

Respawned Records have announced that they will be releasing the Vectorman synthwave arrangement album Vectormania on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on green translucent vinyl with black smoke. It comes in a regular LP jacket with art by Wenart Gunadi. It is limited to 300 copies.

Preorders opened on November 29, 2019 and it released in February, 2020.

 

Phantom Gear

A vinyl soundtrack for the game Phantom Gear was added to the game’s Kickstarter campaign as an add-on. The release will be handled by One Run Records who will also make it available outside of Kickstarter.

The vinyl release will be a single LP on blue vinyl with white splatter.

Kickstarter rewards are scheduled to ship out around August, 2020, so it can be assumed that the record is scheduled around that time as well.

Thunder Force IV

Data Discs have released the soundtrack to Thunder Force IV on vinyl.

The release is a 180g 3LP housed in a sturdy cardboard jacket. It includes a print and a fold-out poster with game art.

Orders opened on April 6, 2019 and it is scheduled to ship out by late April, 2019.

This is the black vinyl variant.

Gaming In Symphony

EuroArts have released selections from the orchestral arrangement album “Gaming In Symphony” on vinyl.

The release is a single 140g LP on yellow translucent vinyl. It is housed in a regular LP jacket with original artwork.

Preorders opened on April 23, 2019 and it released around June 14, 2019.

Shinobi III

The Analog Music Project have released their Shinobi III arrangement album on vinyl.

The release is a single black vinyl LP. It comes in a regular LP jacket with band photos.

Orders opened on May 1, 2019 and they began shipping shortly after.

Thunder Force IV

The release is a 180g 3LP housed in a sturdy cardboard jacket. It includes a print and a fold-out poster with game art.

This is the limited edition variant with one record on blue & black swirl colored, one on black & grey swirl, and one on blue & grey swirl colored vinyl.
