Black Materia: The Remake

Mega Ran launched a Kickstarter to fund a vinyl release of a remake of his Black Materia hip hop arrangement album of Final Fantasy VII.

The release will be a 2LP with one record on dark green with heavy green and light blue splatter and the other on dark green with heavy blue and light green splatter. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork.

The campaign launched on October 11, 2019 and was successfully funded on November 10, 2019. It was initially scheduled to release in September, 2020, but was delayed due to COVID-19 delaying the production of the album.

On January 25, 2021 GameChops launched a Bandcamp vinyl pressing campaign for funding additional vinyl copies of this album, which will be the same copies given out to backers of the Kickstarter campaign.

The vinyl release was scheduled to release in May, 2021, but was delayed several times and began shipping out in November, 2021.

Klonoa: Door To Phantomile

Ship To Shore PhonoCo. shared a video of a test pressing with music from the game Klonoa: Door To Phantomile. In November, 2020 the release formally announced.

The release is a 2LP. It is housed in a jacket with new artwork by Drew Wise. It includes an insert with liner notes by Jeremy Parish and archival artwork

Preorders opened on December 1, 2020 and it released in early January, 2021.

This is the retail edition on clear vinyl.

Grandia Memorial Album

Wayô Records have released a selection of tracks from the Grandia soundtrack alongside the Grandia arrangement album Vent on vinyl.

The release is a 3LP box set. The box set comes with new art by Toshiaki Hontani and comes with printed inner sleeves and a 20-page booklet.

Preorders opened on May 24, 2020 and it was scheduled to release in Summer, 2020, but was delayed and shipped out in late October, 2020.

This is the standard edition on mint green colored vinyl.

Tekken 3 Original Soundtrack (Arcade + PlayStation)

On March 26, 2020 Laced Records announced that they would be releasing the soundtracks to the entire Tekken main series on vinyl throughout 2020. Tekken 3 was officially announced on July 8, 2020.

The release is a 180g 4LP set. It is in a box set with new artwork by Samuel Donato and includes an obi.

Preorders opened on July 8, 2020 and it is scheduled to release in September, 2020.

This is the retail edition on black vinyl.

Across The Worlds ~ Chrono Cross Wayô Piano Collection

Wayô Records launched a Kickstarter in order to fund a Chrono Cross piano arrangement album, which included a vinyl option.

The release is a 2LP on black vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with art design and illustation by Kiyoshi Arai.

The Kickstarter was succesfully funded on July 7, 2020 and vinyl rewards were scheduled to release in December, 2020, but had multiple delays and released in early October, 2021.

The vinyl color was originally advertised as being blue, but was changed to black over quality concerns.

Mega Man X1-8: The Collection

Laced Records have released a selection of 210 tracks from all 8 games in the Mega Man X series on vinyl.

The release is a 180g 8LP box set. They are housed in individual sleeves inside a slipcase box set. The box and sleeves feature new artwork by Ultimatemaverickx.

Preorders opened on June 26, 2020 and it released in early September, 2020.

This is the retail edition on black vinyl.

The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 2

The arrangement album The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 2 has gotten released on vinyl by Diggers Factory after a successful crowdfunding campaign.

The release is a single LP on black vinyl. It is housed in a regular LP jacket with similar artwork to its original digital release. It is a pressing of 1300 copies.

Orders opened in July, 2020 and it was scheduled to release in October, 2020. However, it was delayed and began shipping in mid-November, 2020.

Parallelus

Materia Collective have released the Chrono Cross arrangement album Parallelus on vinyl.

The release is a 45RPM LP. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Leon Tukker.

Preorders opened on November 18, 2019 and it was scheduled to release in January, 2020. However, it was delayed and didn’t release until August, 2020 due to manufacturing issues and the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is the “Ocean” blue translucent with black swirl variant. It was limited to 125 copies available exclusively from Respawned Records.

Silent Hill

Mondo have confirmed that they will be releasing Akira Yamaoka’s soundtrack to Silent Hill.

It will be a 2LP on 180g. It comes in a jacket featuring new artwork by Sam Wolfe Connelly.

This is the 2019 repress on “Harry Mason” brown translucent vinyl with black swirl and “Cybil Bennett” grey marbled colored vinyl. It was limited to 500 copies sold exclusively via Fangamer.
