Brave Wave announced that they would be releasing the soundtracks to all The King Of Fighters games between ’94-2003 on vinyl throughout late 2020 to late 2022. On March 16, 2021 King Of Fighters ’94 was formally announced via Limited Run Games.

The release is a single LP on orange colored vinyl. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with game art. It includes a booklet featuring liner notes and artwork, and a digital download card.
300 copies with an art print signed by  series director Toyohisa Tanabe were made available in a bundle with the King Of Fighters ’95 release.

Preorders opened on March 19, 2021 and it was scheduled to release around September, 2021. However, it was delayed and released in early January, 2022.
