Mondo confirmed in a live stream in 2020 that they would be releasing the soundtrack to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty on vinyl. On June 26, 2024 it was finally properly announced.

The release is a 3LP. It is housed in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by Stephen Green.

Preorders opened on June 26, 2024 and it was scheduled to release in October, 2024. However, it was delayed and began shipping in May, 2025.

This is the standard variant on green with black splatter, green translucent with pink splatter, and pink with red splatter colored vinyl.
