Life Force

On February 7, 2018 Ship To Shore PhonoCo. announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Salamander (also known as Life Force) on vinyl.

It features the Famicom/NES soundtrack on one side and the MSX soundtrack on the other.

The release is a single LP. It comes in a regular LP jacket with new artwork by T-Bone & Aljax. It includes a 12″x24″ poster with liner notes by Anthony John Agnello on one side and artwork on the other.

Preorders opened on March 24, 2020.

This is the clear with orange splatter colored edition. It was available exclusively from Ship To Shore PhonoCo. It began shipping in May, 2020 after being delayed due to COVID-19.

MOTHER

In Fall 2019 Sony Music Japan announced that their sublabel Great Tracks would be releasing a 30th anniversary edition of the MOTHER soundtrack on vinyl.

The release is a 2LP on clear vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with artwork by Katsumi Asaba and Masaharu Takada.

It released on December 25, 2019 and was followed by an identical repress in January, 2020.

The release is almost identical to the Ship To Shore releases of this soundtrack, but this one features an extended version of the medley track “The World Of MOTHER” on Side D and doesn’t come with an obi. There are also minor differences in the layout and package design.

MOTHER (Original Soundtrack)

Ship To Shore Phono Co. succesfully funded a Kickstarter-campaign that allowed them to officially release the orchestral soundtrack to the first game in the MOTHER series (known as Earthbound Beginnings in the West).

The release is a 2LP housed in a gatefold jacket.

This is the 2019 repress on “Ana” pink vinyl.

The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 1

Silva Screen and Diggers Factory have released the 2011 orchestral arrangement album “The Essential Games Music Collection Vol. 1” on vinyl.

The release is a single 140g black vinyl LP. It is housed in a regular LP jacket with a slightly modified version of its original 2011 digital cover art. It is limited to 1300 copies.

Preorders opened on July 14, 2020 and it released in September, 2020.

Bat Out Of HAL

Kirby’s Dream Band have released their video game music rock cover album, Bat Out Of HAL, on vinyl

The release is a single LP. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with art by Maiko parodying the artwork of Meat Loaf’s “Bat Out Of Hell” album.

Preorders opened on March 20, 2020 and it was scheduled to release in June, 2020, but hit a minor delay and was released in early July, 2020.

This is the variant on red marbled colored vinyl, which is limited to approximately 100 copies. It was supposed to have the same colored swirl as the majority of copies, but the pressing plant made a mistake on the color on around 20% of the pressing so they came out red instead of purple.

Wai Wai World 1+2

On February 7, 2018 Ship To Shore PhonoCo. announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to Wai Wai World 2: SOS!! Parsley Jō on vinyl. They later confirmed that the release will also include the soundtrack to the first Wai Wai World.

The release is a 2LP. It is housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Mike Luckas. It includes a double-sided poster with artwork and liner notes by Anthony John Agnello.

Preorders opened on June 23, 2020 and it began shipping in early July, 2020.

This is the clear and yellow split with red and blue splatter color variant, which is exclusive to Black Screen Records.

Distant Worlds IV: More Music From Final Fantasy

AWR Records have releasing the soundtrack to the orchestral Final Fantasy arrangement album Distant Worlds IV on vinyl.

It is a 2LP on clear vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with photos from the recording sessions alongside performer credits.

Orders opened on June 18, 2020 and it began shipping out shortly after.

The Pink Album

This is an album made by Kirby’s Dream Band featuring rock covers of music from mainly Kirby’s Dream Land, but also Street Fighter II, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Chrono Trigger, Cave Story, Final Fantasy IV, and Pokémon Red & Blue.

It is a 2LP. It comes in a gatefold jacket with a pink front cover and gatefold art by Maiko with each band member drawn as Kirby.

This is the 2017 repress. It comes with an obi and the records are on cream white vinyl with pink splatter. It is limited to 250 copies.
