The 8-Bit Time Paradox

Giovanni Rotondo launched an Indiegame campaign for an album of video game cover tracks. The campaign was aiming to raise £10,000 by December 24, 2017 for a symphonic recording of the album.

While the campaign failed to reach its goal, the album is still coming out (just without the symphonic parts).

It is a single LP housed in a regular LP jacket with artwork by Jeff Langevin.

It was released by Enjoy The Toons Records on May 5, 2018.

This is the edition on “Game Boy cartridge” grey. It is limited to 200 copies.

Steel Rats

A promo 7″ with music from Steel Rats have been released by the company releasing the game. It’s only been available to gaming press and industry people.

Night In The Woods

In mid-May 2018 composer Alec Holowka confirmed on Twitter that his score for Night In The Woods would be getting a vinyl release “soon-ish”.

On October 19, 2018 Ghost Ramp announced that they will be releasing this on vinyl.

It is  a 2LP on black vinyl. It comes in a gatefold jacket with game art. It comes with an insert with liner notes and an enamel pin (only orders directly from Ghost Ramp includes the pin, though).

Preorders opened on October 19, 2018 and it released mid-February, 2019.

Volume Original Soundtrack

Limited Run Games have been selling copies of the soundtrack to Volume on vinyl. The release itself was handled by Laced Records.

It is a single LP on 180g black vinyl and is housed in a regular LP jacket with game art.

It’s been available from Limited Run Games at PSX 2017, but was sold to the general public for the first time on May 4, 2018.

Music From Before The Storm

Record Store Day  announced that there would be a vinyl release of Daughter’s music for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm available on the day.

The release is a 2LP. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with art by Chris Bigg. It is limited to 2000 copies.

It released on Record Store Day 2018, which was on April 21, 2018.

This is the US pressing on silver-colored vinyl.

DOOM Original Game Soundtrack

Laced Records have announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack to the 2016 DOOM game on vinyl.

This is the 2LP edition on 180g red translucent colored vinyl. It’s housed in a single-pocket jacket and has printed inner sleeves with game art.

Preorders opened on April 18, 2018 and it released in late July 2018.

God Of War

Composer Bear McCreary announced that his soundtrack to the 2018 God Of War game will be released on vinyl. Mondo later announced that they would be the ones releasing it.

It is a 2LP on 180g vinyl. It will be housed in a regular LP jacket with new art by Jeff Langevin.

Preorders opened on April 20, 2018 and it released mid-June 2018.

This is the colored variant on bronze translucent with clear splatter + blue & light blue swirl with clear splatter.

Sonic Forces Original Soundtrack – The Vinyl Cutz

Wave Master and Wayô Records have released the soundtrack to Sonic Forces on vinyl. The release was announced by Sega on April 14, 2018.

The release is a 180g 2LP with one record on blue translucent vinyl and the other on silver-grey vinyl. It comes in a die-cut gatefold jacket and includes an insert with song lyrics.

Preorders opened June 19, 2018 and it released on June 29, 2018.

SteamWorld Dig 2 Original Soundtrack

Fangamer have released the soundtrack to SteamWorld Dig 2 on vinyl.

It is a single LP on light blue translucent vinyl and it is be housed in a standard LP jacket with art by Agnieszka Mikucka.

Orders opened on March 28, 2018 and it began shipping out short after.

SteamWorld Dig

Fangamer have released the soundtrack to SteamWorld Dig on vinyl.

The release is a single LP on brown translucent vinyl with black swirl. It is  housed in a standard LP jacket with art by Agnieszka Mikucka.

Side A features the game’s original soundtrack while Side B features b-sides and remixes from the game, SteamWorld Dig 2 and SteamWorld Heist.

Orders opened on March 28, 2018 and it began shipping out shortly after.
