Resurrection Of The Night: Alucard’s Elegy

Materia Collective launched a Kickstarter for an orchestral arrangement album of music from Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night – and it included a vinyl option at the $75 “Count Dracula’s Album” tier.

The campaign launched on October 30, 2017 with a goal of $30,000 and ended on November 27, 2017. The campaign finished succesfully after being funded in its last hour and reaching just over $30,000.

The release is a single LP. It comes in a textured gatefold jacket with design and layout by Rozen. It includes a booklet with credits and artwork.

Physical rewards were scheduled to ship in October 2018, however, as of November 2018 recordings were still ongoing. After multiple delays the records began shipping out in September, 2019.

This is the Kickstarter exclusive variant on red translucent vinyl with black swirl.

The Tomb Raider Suite

Nathan McCree, the original composer for the first three Tomb Raider games, launched a succesful Kickstarter for an arranged recording of music from said games.

The release is a 2LP on black vinyl housed in a gatefold cover. It includes an insert with photos, game art and credits.

The project was launched on May 26, 2017 with a goal of £160,000 and was succesfully funded on June 25, 2017.

Rewards were planned to ship in November 2017, but due to the recordings being delayed so was the release.
After multiple delays the album final began shipping in late August, 2019.

This variant is the one that comes with the backer exclusive Modern Lara jacket.

Silent Hill

Mondo have confirmed that they will be releasing Akira Yamaoka’s soundtrack to Silent Hill.

It will be a 2LP on 180g. It comes in a jacket featuring new artwork by Sam Wolfe Connelly.

Orders opened on April 12, 2017 and shipped out shortly after.

This is the black vinyl variant.

Katamari Fantasy

The artist Drew Wise have tweeted an image of a Katamari plush alongside a 7″ flexi disc with art from the game.

It was announced January 5, 2017 that it’s a mash-up release with music from Katamari Damacy and Final Fantasy VII done by R23X.

It debuted at MAGFest 2017 and was later released for sale via The Yetee’s website on February 13, 2017 – but only for 24 hours.

Rayman By Rémi – The Collector Soundtrack Album

On November 14, 2016 Rémi Gazel – the composer for the original Rayman game – announced a Kickstarter for “Rayman By Rémi”. It’s a new arrangement of the original Rayman soundtrack.

The project included a 2LP vinyl release handled by Black Screen Records. The project aimed to raise €50,000, but was canceled 1 week before it’s scheduled end due to not receiving sufficient funding.

It was announced that they would not give up on the project, but it is currently unclear of how it will move forward and if the vinyl release will happen.

Symphonic Fantasies Tokyo – Music From Square Enix

Laced Records have released Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra’s Symphonic Fantasies Tokyo on vinyl.

The album is a 3LP on black vinyl with new art by Johnni Di-Doi and Petherton Press. It features arranged music from the games Kingdom Hearts I & II, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Final Fantasy I-VII + X.

Preorders opened on October 25, 2016 and released mid-December 2016.

Final Symphony: Music From Final Fantasy VI, VII And X

Laced Records have released London Symphony Orchestra’s Final Symphony on vinyl.

The album is a 3LP on black vinyl and features new art from Tom Baxter and Caspar Newbolt. Final Symphony features arranged music from Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII, and Final Fantasy X.

Preorders opened on October 25, 2016 and it was released December 2016.

This is the original pressing on black vinyl, which comes in a triple gatefold jacket.

Anthologie Playstation

A 12″ picture disc with music from Abe’s Oddysee and Abe’s Exoddus have been released by French book publisher Geeks-Line. The release was offered exclusively as part of a preorder deal for the collector’s edition of the book set “PlayStation Anthologie Trilogie”.

All copies sold out in preorder. It is limited to 500 numbered copies.

Black Materia: Remixed & Remastered

Yetee Records (The Yetee) teased this release via a video on YouTube back in January 2016. On April 12,  2016 they confirmed that it was a remixed and remastered version of Mega Ran & Lost Perception’s Black Materia album, which is a rap/hiphop album using Final Fantasy samples and background music.

Artwork is done by Drew Wise. The album is a 2LP on 140g vinyl was released on April 16, 2016.

This is the white vinyl version, which is limited to 175 copies.

Silent Hill
