The 8-Bit Time Paradox

Giovanni Rotondo launched an Indiegame campaign for an album of video game cover tracks. The campaign was aiming to raise £10,000 by December 24, 2017 for a symphonic recording of the album.

While the campaign failed to reach its goal, the album is still coming out (just without the symphonic parts).

It is a single LP housed in a regular LP jacket with artwork by Jeff Langevin.

It was released by Enjoy The Toons Records on May 5, 2018.

This is the edition on “Game Boy cartridge” grey. It is limited to 200 copies.

Tekken EP

An EP with remix/arrangements of music from Tekken was released by Comic Sans Records in September 2017.

It’s a 12″ EP housed in a generic jacket.

Myst Original Soundtrack

Robyn Miller, composer and co-creator of Myst, tweeted that the soundtrack was planned for a vinyl release in 2018. On April 19, 2021 he announced that Fangamer would be taking orders the following day.

The release is a 2LP with one record on “red page” and the other on “blue page” translucent colored vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with an embossed slipcase featuring design by Robyn Miller.

Orders opened on April 20, 2021 and it began shipping out shortly after.

Pure: Aquaplus Legend Of Acoustics

F.I.X. Records have released the compilation album Pure: Aquaplus Legend Of Acoustics on vinyl. The album was originally released only on CD in 2007.

It contains acoustic versions of a series of songs from different visual novels.

It is a 2LP on black vinyl.

Distant Worlds II: More Music From Final Fantasy

AWR Records have released the Distant Worlds II: More Music From Final Fantasy arrangement album on vinyl.

It’s a 2LP on white vinyl and is housed in a gatefold jacket with photos from the recording sessions.

Online orders opened on April 5, 2018 and it is expected to be available at the Distant Worlds shows too.

All Things Must Be Equal

Sleepers Records have released an album with music by Osamu Sato. It will include a series of original tracks as well as new mixes of two tracks from the games LSD: Dream Emulator and Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls Of Tong-Nou. It is known as the BLN Edition (with the CD version being known as the TYO Edition).

It will be a single LP on black vinyl. It is limited to 500 copies.

It began shipping on January 26, 2018.

Mega Man: Best Of Mega Man 1-10

Spacelab9 released the Mega Man: Best Of Mega Man 1-10 as a Hot Topic exclusive picture disc. A colored vinyl version was estimated to release in October, 2015, but was later delayed to 2016.

This reæeased is housed in a regular LP jacket.

This is the “Mega Splatter” variant on clear vinyl with red, blue and green splatter. It was available exclusively at New York Comic Con 2016.

Mega Man: Best Of Mega Man 1-10 (Mega Pack Edition – Skull Man Version)

Spacelab9 released the Mega Man: Best Of Mega Man 1-10 as a Hot Topic exclusive picture disc. A colored vinyl version was estimated to release in October, 2015, but was later delayed to 2016.

This reæeased is housed in a die-cut NES-style slipcover.

This is the Skull Man variant on clear vinyl with red and white splatter. It was available exclusively at New York Comic Con 2016.

Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy

A vinyl release of the first Distant Worlds album, which was originally released in 2007, was released on vinyl and made available for purchase at the 2017 Distant Worlds tour in celebration of Final Fantasy’s 30th anniversary.

It’s unclear which show was the first where these were available.
