During a roundtable discussion Stumpy Frog Records announced that they would be releasing the soundtrack to Neotokyo on vinyl. It was formally announced to newsletter subscribers on February 17, 2023.

The release is a 4LP set. It is housed in two gatefold jackets within a felt jacket with artwork by Julianne Griepp.

Preorders officially opened on February 21, 2023 and it was scheduled to release in May, 2023, but was delayed to August, 2023 due to a manufacturing error.

This is the “soldier” variant on black vinyl. It is limited to 150 copies.
