Composer Chris Christodoulou confirmed that his soundtrack to Risk Of Rain 2 would be released on vinyl. It was released by Black Screen Records in partnership with Materia Collective. It was officially presented on July 31, 2020.
The release is a 180g 3LP. It is housed in a triple gatefold jacket with new artwork by Daniele Giardini. It includes a download card for the soundtracks to both Risk of Rain 1 and 2.
Preorders opened on July 31, 2020 and it was scheduled to release in late October, 2020. However, it has been slightly delayed and shipped in early November, 2020 due to COVID-19.
This is the limited edition on purple and black, pink and black, and orange and black swirl colored vinyl.
