A 7″ flexi disc containing the games Stellar Run, Energy Fields, Galaxians, and Fall Guy in sound format for the BBC Micro have been featured as a free promo from the “Personal Computer Games” magazine in the UK. To play the game the sound have to be transferred to a compatible format.

SID Chip Sounds: The Music Of The Commodore 64

2LP released in 2012 by Robot Elephant Records. It contains 19 tracks from the games Last Ninja, Trap, Giana Sisters, Katakis, Glider Rider, Panther, Gauntlet III: The Final Quest, LED Storm, Cybernoid 2, Wizball, Comic Bakery, Parallax, Arkanoid, Dominator, Last Ninja II, Commando, and Sanxion.

Input64: A Collection Of Commodore 64 Game Music 1984-1989

2LP released in 2001 by Enduro and L’Age D’Or. It comes with a 24-page booklet. The sound on this wasn’t recorded from a real C64 but from a PC emulating the SID sound chip from the C64. It contains 19 tracks from the games Turbo Outrun, BMX Kidz, Alloy Run, Kinetix, Boulder Dash, The Last Ninja, Crazy Comets, Yie Ar Kung-Fu, Bubble Bobble, Arkanoid, One Man And His Droid, Insects In Space, Boulder Dash II: Rockford’s Revenge, Starball, and Monty On The Run.

It should be noted that the songs on this release were not captured from a real Commodore 64, but from a PC emulator.

Hudson Game Music

Picture disc LP released in 1986 by G.M.O. Records. It contains 12 tracks from the games Star Soldier, Nuts & Milk, Binary Land, Bomber Man, Raid On Bungeling Bay, Championship Lode Runner, and Challenger.

Uncle Art: A Temporal Shift

During a succesful Kickstarter campaign for remade versions of David Lowe’s game music compositions, backers could opt for a vinyl option.

The release shipped out to backers in late 2016.

Project Sidologie Revolutions

During a succesful Kickstarter campaign, for a Commodore 64 music compilation done in the style of Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis and created by C64Audio, backers could opt for a double vinyl option.

The release is a 2LP housed in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Trevor Storey. It is limited to 250 numbered copies.

It was originally intended to release in February, 2016, but the entire campaign underwent some pretty hefty manufacturing delays, meaning it didn’t release until March, 2019.

Tel Me More: Game Music Remakes

Ongoing Indiegogo campaing where backs can opt for a vinyl option. The album will feature remakes of Commodore 64 music. There’s not tracklist for the vinyl version, but the CD and digital versions will feature remakes of music from RoboCop 3, Cybernoid II: The Revenge, Rubicon, Hawkeye, Myth, Turbo Outrun, Supremacy, Stormlord, Battle Valley, Cybernoid, Eliminator, and Iron Lord. The campaign ends on August 10, 2015. There’s no release date estimate as of now.

It’s been speculated that this release might not happen since the campaign failed to meet its full goal.

The Piano Collection

During a succesful Kickstarter campaign, for a collection of piano versions of game music composed by Chris Hülsbeck, backers could opt for a double vinyl option. A full tracklist isn’t available but it will feature music from Turrican II and R-Type among others. Backers were set to receive their copies of the vinyl record in late August, 2015.

Orders were later opened in January 2016 for the remaining copies of the album.
