Drift Stage Volume One & Two

Super Systems Softworks announced that Ghost Ramp will be releasing the full soundtrack to their game Drift Stage alongside a series of 7″s with tracks from the game. The soundtrack is done by Myrone.

In a Kickstarter update from November 28, 2017 the developers announced that they wouldn’t be focusing on releasing a physical soundtrack until the game was ready to release. However, they did also share some mockups of the vinyl release.

The 7″s were released, however due to the game’s cancellation it is unlikely that the full soundtrack will be released on vinyl.

Nuclear Throne

Ghost Ramp have announced via Twitter that they will be releasing the Jukio Kallio’s soundtrack to Nuclear Throne.

It is a 2LP with one record on “nuclear sludge” green and the other on a picture disc with character art. Comes with a die-cut gatefold jacket, insert, and a digital download.

A “special edition” with extras was also made available.

Preorders opened December 23, 2016 and it is released in late April 2017.

No Man’s Sky: Music For An Infinite Universe (Box Set)

Laced Records have released the soundtrack to No Man’s Sky on vinyl.

This release is a 4LP on black vinyl. It is housed in a slipcase box set witht each record in an individual sleeve. It features artwork by Caspar Newbolt.

This set includes the game’s original soundtrack on the first 2 LPs and a set of in-game soundscapes on the latter 2 LPs.

It opened for preorders on April 8, 2016 and released late September, 2016.

No Man’s Sky: Music For An Infinite Universe

Laced Records released a gatefold 180g 2LP version of 65daysofstatic’s No Man’s Sky soundtrack.

In addition to the full OST it will also include a download for 6 soundscapes exclusive to Laced Records versions of the soundtrack.

It opened for preorders on April 8, 2016 and released late September 2016.

Half-Life

A 12″ with remixes of unspecified tracks from Half-Life was released by synSoniq Records in 1998. The remixes are done by Doug Laurent and Mindbomb.

The remixes have been accused of lacking any resemblance to the actual music from Half-Life and being released using the game’s success as a marketing trick.

Brigador – Volume I

It was announced via Steam that Makeup And Vanity Set’s soundtrack to Brigador would be receiving a 2LP vinyl release. It was later confirmed via Twitter that the release will be out via Yewknee Records / Telefuture.

The album is on black vinyl and is limited to 500 copies.

Preorders opened on June 2, 2016 and the album released late September, 2016.

Enter The Gungeon: Heart In Halves EP

It was confirmed by Doseone on Twitter in April 2016 that music from Enter The Gungeon would be released on vinyl. On July 2, 2016 Devolver Digital confirmed that they (together with Laced Records) would release Doseone’s rap tracks (and instrumentals) on a 12″ black vinyl EP.

It was released early/mid-July 2016.

Quantum Break Original Soundtrack

Iam8bit have releasws Petri Alanko’s soundtrack to Quantum Break on vinyl. The record comes on 180g white with colored splatter vinyl and features new artwork by Chrstina Mrozik.

It is limited to 3000 copies and shipped in mid-December 2016 after some delays.

FTL: Advanced Edition Vinyl Soundtrack

Ben Prunty’s music to the advanced edition of FTL: Faster Than Light have been released on vinyl by iam8bit.

The release is on 180g black with yellow splatter vinyl housed in a metallic foil record jacket. It is limited to 1000 copies and released late July 2016.

NOTE: There’s been some confusion as to the contents of this release and just to clarify – this is the extra music that was added for the “Advanced Edition” update to FTL. The tracks on it are not present on the other FTL vinyl soundtrack and vice versa.

 

Drift Stage (Keizai)

On March 28 Ghost Ramp tweeted the cover art for a second Drift Stage release with the words “Round 2”. It is shaped after the “Keizai” model car from the game and feature the tracks Applied Dynamics and Touge Run.

On April 18 it was announced that the record is being manufactured at the pressing plant and on May 31 preorders opened. The album started shipping out late July/early August 2016.
