Crypt Of The NecroDancer

In an interview with PCGamer Ghost Ramp announced that they would be releasing Danny Baranowsky’s soundtrack for the game on vinyl.

The album is 2LP on “fire” and “ice” colored vinyl and comes in a gatefold jacket with new artwork by Del Northern.

There is two versions – a limited edition of 1000 copies and a special edition in “very limited quantities” that includes the limited edition + a pin and 2 stickers. Other than the extras the two versions are identical.

Preorders opened on October 24, 2016 and it released in March, 2017.

Minecraft Volume Beta

An Amazon listing confirmed that Ghostly International would be releasing a selection of tracks from the Minecraft Volume Beta album. Ghostly announced the release officially on June 17, 2020.

The release is a 2LP in a single-pocket jacket with the original artwork from the digital release.

Preorders opened officially on June 17, 2020 (with others as early as April) and it is scheduled to release around August 14, 2020.

This is the limited edition “fire” red with yellow splatter colored vinyl variant in a lenticular jacket.

Insurgency

More of a vinyl OST in limbo than a rumor. Newly started label, Panda Alignment Records launched a Kickstarter for a vinyl release of the game’s OST, but it never took off. As of now there’s no new info on whether or not this project will happen.

Warp Zone

Album by missingNo. featuring jazz covers of video game songs from Super Mario 64, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Donkey Kong Country 2, Final Fantasy VII, Cave Story, Ni No Kuni, and Chrono Trigger.

It was self-released after a succesful Indiegogo-campaign in 2013. Limited to 200 copies.

The Pink Album

This is an album made by Kirby’s Dream Band featuring rock covers of music from mainly Kirby’s Dream Land, but also Street Fighter II, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Chrono Trigger, Cave Story, Final Fantasy IV, and Pokémon Red & Blue.

It is a 2LP. It comes in a gatefold jacket with a pink front cover and gatefold art by Maiko with each band member drawn as Kirby.

It was self-released after a succesful Kickstarter-campaign in 2013. It is limited to 300 copies on pink marbled vinyl.

The Banner Saga

Iam8bit has released Austin Wintory’s soundtrack to The Banner Saga. The 2LP set comes on one red and one cream white disc. The artwork for the record was done by Arnie Jorgensen who was the art director for the game.

Preorders opened on January 21, 2016 and the album was released mid-August 2016.

Picture Perfect Phantasy

A 7″ with the song Picture Perfect Phantasy by 4 Player Co-Op was released by Newscienceagency in 2013. The song is inspired by the game Rayman Legends.

The 7″ was released in collaboration with Ubisoft and all proceedings went to the Make Yourself Foundation. It was limited to 100 copies on clear with orange burst vinyl.
