Composer Mike Morasky confirmed that a vinyl release for the soundtrack to Half-Life: Alyx was planned once the soundtrack was complete. This release with a curated selection of tracks from the soundtrack was formally announced by Ipecac Recordings on January 26, 2026.

The release is a 2LP. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with game art. It also includes a 24″x48″ poster and a download card.

Preorders opened on January 27, 2026 and it released around April 24, 2026.

This is the limited edition on clear with black and orange splatter colored vinyl. It is limited to 2500 copies and sold exclusively through Ipecac Recordings.
