The Kickstarter for Solasta: Crown Of The Magister included a vinyl release as one of the backer rewards for the game. Later G4F Records announced they would be doing the vinyl and also made a variant available for non-backers.

The release is a 180g black vinyl 2LP. It is housed in a gatefold jacket with gold-foil artwork.

Preorders for the retail variant opened on May 27, 2021 and it was scheduled to release in July, 2021. However, it was delayed and released in September, 2021.

The Kickstarter initially advertised a variant with gold colored and black vinyl, but this was never made and backers received the retail variant.
