Oddworld: Soulstorm, New ‘n Tasty + Sounds Of Summer 2022 vinyl now up via Black Screen Records

Black Screen Records have lots of new stuff up for preorder today. For Oddworld fans they have a vinyl release of the Oddworld: Soulstorm soundtrack alongside a repress of the long sold-out Oddworld: New ‘n Tasty.
And for all the indie heads there’s a new Sounds Of Summer indie game music compilation featuring tracks from Another Crab’s Treasure, A Space for the Unbound, Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles, Baladins, Completely Stretchy, Dome Keeper, Keylocker, OTXO, Project Terra, SENTRY, Spirit Swap, Spirittea, Super Space Club and Victory Heat Rally.

Soulstorm will be a single LP on 180g orange marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.

New ‘N Tasty will be a single 180g LP on clear with black marble colored vinyl. It will be housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.

Sounds Of Summer 2022 will be a single LP on 180g black vinyl. It will be housed in a single-pocket jacket with new artwork by Karolina Assadova and comes with an insert with track credits.

Soulstorm and New ‘N Tasty are €30 each and are both slated for a mid-August, 2022 release. Soulstorm can be preordered here and New ‘N Tasty here.

Sounds Of Summer 2022 will be free – and will only be available to order this month – and is scheduled to start shipping in September, 2022. It can be preordered here.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath 2LP preorders up via Black Screen Records now

Today Black Screen Records announced preorders for the vinyl release of Michael Bross’ Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath soundtrack.

The release will be a 2LP plus a bonus 7″ and comes in three different variants – a classic black vinyl version, a version with one record on yellow and one on orange colored vinyl, and a Limited Run Games variant with alternate cover art and on blue vinyl. The 7″ is on black vinyl for all three variants.

The yellow/orange variant will be part of Black Screen Records’ previously announced Mystery Bundle #002, so people who have already ordered the bundle should be guaranteed a copy.

The release is priced at €32 and can be preordered from Black Screen Records’ store here. It is expected to release later this Summer.

The Limited Run Games variant will be available on July 7, 2017 from the Limited Run Games website.

Music from Oddworld: New n’ Tasty to be released on vinyl

Fans of the Oddworld games rejoice! Today it’s been revealed through Oddworld Inhabitants that a soundtrack from Oddworld: New n’ Tasty will be released on vinyl.

It will include brand new remastered tunes from Oddworld: New n’ Tasty as well as new mixes from the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee on what looks like a grey colored vinyl. As a bonus it will include a poster, a Steam code for the Oddworld: New n’ Tasty game, and the full soundtrack to the game as well as the soundtrack to the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.

It will be revealed at the EGX event in Birmingham, UK this weekend. It will be released by Black Screen Records. Release date, price, pressing numbers, and where to buy is yet to be disclosed but stay tuned!
